I just got mine today. It seems really good so far. I just needed something to set up targets when I go shooting. 15, 25. 100, 200, 300. Plus it was on sale for 69 bucks. I should have bought one long ago.
One of the best reviews I have seen in a while. Thorough, but short and to the point without a bunch of fluff. Thanks so much. I ordered this unit. Cant wait to get it in my hands today.

Thanks for the great review! I was overwhelmed with searching for rangefinders. Many are way over my budget. For what I need (Archery / 3-D target shooting) this seems like a decent quality for the price. Basically just what I'm looking for. Hopefully that weird focusing quirk is not a hassle. And it is on sale right now for $69.99.
Hello I just purchased the bino harness and received it yesterday, now I’m impressed with that range finder. I’ll wait for the sale so I can get the 1000. Thanks
I've just received my own TideWe HR-F1000 Laser Range Finder from Amazon after much due diligence, comparisons and considerations. I immediately found it to be more than I paid for and while I am quite impressed, exactly how do you power the unit down? It isn't in the Manual and therefore I performed a "Google Search" which led me here to your review as only the third listing from the top. I hope you're able to help me with this before my 20,000 Measurement Battery becomes a 3.7v, 750mAh washer. LOL Thank You For Your Video Review, be well, be safe and be blessed... Does it just provide you with the angle measurement or does it automatically compensate it for you? I.e. sitting in a tree stand. Will I know my distance including the angle or will I have to break out a notepad to do the math myself?
You get what you pay for. I bought this. Went to the shooting range. At 100 yards it reads 93 yards. At 200 yards it reads 175 yards. Maybe this thing is useful for archery hunters. We hunt in fairly open country, and it's not uncommon to take a 300 yard shot. Not sure how useful this is for me.
If you use it in a tree. Do you have to do math? Or is it dead on? So if a deer is 20 yards away and you use it in a tree will it till you that it is at 20 yards?
It's a straight line so there isn't math. If a deer is 20 yards on the ground or in a tree from you that's how far. The only thing you have to consider is your projectile and how that will react when shooting from a tree.
Is there a tripod hole underneath? Can the rechargeable battery be replaced ? I have replaced my iphone battery like 4 times in 4 years already. And i doubt in 15 years i will be able to find a rechargeable battery for the specific model.. so wondering if i should just get the Aofar rangefinder that use cr2 battery that can easily be found.. even in 25 years.
If im bow hunting im not shooting over a 100 but I did buy the 1000 just in case you never know what you want to shoot a rifle at tho lol great review im definitely subbing

Did you end up getting one? Curious what you think of it
I bought one on Amazon and for this crossbow deer hunter it’s budget friendly and it does exactly what I want it to do.
Love it!

You say 100 yards rage the first time.. I believe you meant 1000 yards..
For someone who never used one before i think that this would be great thank you
For sure! Thanks for watching

@@JDubbwhat’s the straight yards thing I bought it basically just to target practice and need it for my crossbow to see how far I am from target
I have one and love it.
TideWe has good products.
I agree!
Fantastic review. Clear and concise, and covered everything I needed to see.
Replying from a different channel account but glad you liked the video, thanks for watching! :D

So glad to hear you like it!!! It turns off shortly after no use. No need to do anything to power it down. Pretty easy 😂
Just bought one and I like it!
Love to hear it!
How do you change it to where it shows just yards? I have it stuck in to where it shows the golf mode
Tengo in telemerro pero la medida la tiene en yardas como puedo aser para ponerlo en metro

Angle measurement, not sure it calculates for you
@@dubboutdoors thanks!

Is the 700 yards for reflective or nonreflective objects?
Tested on non reflective, I did try to hit my glass and the reading was sporadic, so I would say non-reflective

Unfortunately no tripod base or replaceable battery on this one.
Well that's because you choose an IPhone. Even this budget rangefinder has far superior than an IPhone.
Just bought one. Definitely seems like a good deal based on your review.
It is! Enjoy!
Did you get it? What do you think?
@@dubboutdoors yup yup. Got it and it's niceeee.... Especially at the pricepoint.
Awesome!
Why aren't there more videos? Like the editing is awesome, you deserve more views.
Planning to do more soon
How do you power it off?

I agree. Better be over prepared haha! Thanks for the support 😊
How does it do in the rain or fog
Ive had no issues with either since we've gotten it, but haven't been in heavy rain yet, just light sprinkling
you need to edit this! You said the 700 model can measure upto 700 yards and the 1000 upto "100 yards" only! 😆 🤣 😂
Is this range finder manufactured in the USA or in communist China?
China for sure
Always the greatest communist CHINA
i bought the tidewe range finder ....its junk period had mine a few weeks and suddenly everythin is 15 yds. dont waste your money
Might have gotten a bad one, mine is going strong to this day, use it year round.
A lot of the reviews say it stopped working after a month
I've been using it ever since I made this video and still going strong
@@dubboutdoors well I have had it for 10 months and it still works and I have only charged it 2 times!
