I've got the two clear scale ones , they sharpen up really well, great edc knife
I agree
The blade says D2 steel, not nitro V.
Thats not g10, its a material called Ultem
I own 3 of these, great knife.
The black coating is to delay your lead poisoning. Nothing German
Wheres it made ?
Looks like a bradford.
D2 not nitr-v
I have the Quaker Boy challenging jake. I've never gotten a response from it. This twister one seems like it sounds a little more realistic on your video. Have you ever used the one I have?
How's the detent on that 🤔 Also underrated short! Only 787 views? Let's make that 788 :)
It's smooth
Nice! I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these. I just can't decide whether to get a Civivi Yonder or one of these first!
Both are great knives, go with your gut! I'm loving the Kizer stuff but have a few Civivi a well
Funny, i am in the exact same situation, i like the bigger handle on this, but i like the steel and blade shapee of the yonder better.
@@MrShadowofthewind Interesting. Thanks for that info!
Why would i not just throw that shit in my trunk
I believe it largely depends on your hunting style. I often find myself on extensive BLM land, hunting deer and birds. Additionally, I load and store my gun in these locations for easy access while driving, keeping it ready and not in my lap. This is simply my specific use case.
- Ich liebe, wie detailliert du das Messer getestet hast, top Arbeit! 👌🔪
It's still nice, but it's still not a Muskrat 😅
😂 I'm a moron
Nice work!
Thank you! Cheers!
🙌
The version you’re showing here is the D2 blade version not Nitro V. There’s a price difference between them depending on handle scales.
I just got mine today. It seems really good so far. I just needed something to set up targets when I go shooting. 15, 25. 100, 200, 300. Plus it was on sale for 69 bucks. I should have bought one long ago.
Bro, I’ve had this call for a few years. I tried it and was terrible at it because I did not practice with enough. I pulled it out and looked for some help. This video changed that and now I can make it sound like a real gobble. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Love this. Thanks for letting me know, good luck with it!!
I bought one on Amazon and for this crossbow deer hunter it’s budget friendly and it does exactly what I want it to do.
Love it!
i bought the tidewe range finder ....its junk period had mine a few weeks and suddenly everythin is 15 yds. dont waste your money
Might have gotten a bad one, mine is going strong to this day, use it year round.
A lot of the reviews say it stopped working after a month
I've been using it ever since I made this video and still going strong
@@dubboutdoors well I have had it for 10 months and it still works and I have only charged it 2 times!
@@dubboutdoors welp i bought it its been 10 months and it is still going strong and I have only charged it twice!
@@dubboutdoors I bought it and its worked great and I have only had to charge the range finder twice in a year!
You get what you pay for. I bought this. Went to the shooting range. At 100 yards it reads 93 yards. At 200 yards it reads 175 yards. Maybe this thing is useful for archery hunters. We hunt in fairly open country, and it's not uncommon to take a 300 yard shot. Not sure how useful this is for me.
Really do you think it’s a textured grip is worth the money
Tengo in telemerro pero la medida la tiene en yardas como puedo aser para ponerlo en metro
Just bought one and I like it!
Love to hear it!
Just received my Tidewe 1000 and big do I love it. Yardage/Meters is spot on.
Yes!! 👍
called for moments, nothing happened.....
This call is terrible i crow hunt often and I would not recommend
Interesting, works well for me every spring. What makes it terrible?
@@Comm_Quest listen to to a crow and hear other mouth calls and you should be able to tell
@@countrymankdx200 I guess if you are looking for realistic sound but in reality I've used loud claps and a duck call to get them to shot gobble so for me it hasn't mattered how realistic the crow is to be effective, but to each his own.
@@countrymankdx200 What call would you recommend?
@@badbloodoutdoors1874 mallard tone crow call
If you use it in a tree. Do you have to do math? Or is it dead on? So if a deer is 20 yards away and you use it in a tree will it till you that it is at 20 yards?
It's a straight line so there isn't math. If a deer is 20 yards on the ground or in a tree from you that's how far. The only thing you have to consider is your projectile and how that will react when shooting from a tree.
How do you power it off?
Sounded like a gobbler having seizures.
We can see it, don't take 2 minutes to describe how it looks.
Filler
You say 100 yards rage the first time.. I believe you meant 1000 yards..
Growl into it while you blow. It gives it a raspy sound. If you lightly bite down on the mouth piece while you blow, it makes the pitch a little higher
Is the 700 yards for reflective or nonreflective objects?
Tested on non reflective, I did try to hit my glass and the reading was sporadic, so I would say non-reflective
Just ordered one, thanks for the info
you need to edit this! You said the 700 model can measure upto 700 yards and the 1000 upto "100 yards" only! 😆 🤣 😂
Thanks for the great review!
Absolutely!!
The crows are more fun to hunt than the turkeys. They’re a faster and smaller target and about 95% smarter, so it’s more challenging. Plus there’s more of them. Try hunting educated crows that have been hunted a lot. Probably the smartest animal you can legally hunt. Ranked in the top 5 smartest animals.
I really wanna get one and try cooking it 😂 Meat Eater said they weren't too bad
Don't hunt crows.
@@bustatron your not a farmer I can see. I raise pecans and they steal around 50% of my crop every year.
Why aren't there more videos? Like the editing is awesome, you deserve more views.
Planning to do more soon
How does it do in the rain or fog
Ive had no issues with either since we've gotten it, but haven't been in heavy rain yet, just light sprinkling
Thank you I just ordered. Earned my sub.
Right on enjoy!
Fantastic review. Clear and concise, and covered everything I needed to see.
Replying from a different channel account but glad you liked the video, thanks for watching! :D
Glad you liked it ☺️
Does it just provide you with the angle measurement or does it automatically compensate it for you? I.e. sitting in a tree stand. Will I know my distance including the angle or will I have to break out a notepad to do the math myself?
Angle measurement, not sure it calculates for you
@@dubboutdoors thanks!
I have one. It sounds louder in real life than on the video. Not a hundred percent, but I usually get a response if toms are around. I have used it in the morning and the evening when the birds are on the roost.
It works for me as well
For someone who never used one before i think that this would be great thank you
For sure! Thanks for watching
I've just received my own TideWe HR-F1000 Laser Range Finder from Amazon after much due diligence, comparisons and considerations. I immediately found it to be more than I paid for and while I am quite impressed, exactly how do you power the unit down? It isn't in the Manual and therefore I performed a "Google Search" which led me here to your review as only the third listing from the top. I hope you're able to help me with this before my 20,000 Measurement Battery becomes a 3.7v, 750mAh washer. LOL Thank You For Your Video Review, be well, be safe and be blessed... Sincerely And Respectfully Yours, ...~Dr. Benny
So glad to hear you like it!!! It turns off shortly after no use. No need to do anything to power it down. Pretty easy 😂
I have one and love it. TideWe has good products.
I agree!
How do you change it to where it shows just yards? I have it stuck in to where it shows the golf mode
