Thanks for the video, the best and most straight forward out there. On my 1.9tdi automatic, managed to do the job from the top only and did not need to remove battery.
This is so useful - doing this job this weekend. I have the Golf manual already but you guys should think about doing videos for all the jobs in the manual - I would happily pay for that!
Why don't they say what size the nut is? I know how to take the nuts off but one is jammed so I need to know 100% what size spanner I'm using so I don't round it off

Can u show me where it goes that uper mount ground u remove from starter ?
It goes back on the starter motor where you take it off
What size are the bolts?
