Hell yeah! Loved the video. If you're not using your Bronco you're not living life. I'm at 27K miles now on my modified Badlands and loving every minute. Thanks for showing the way!
This JL Wrangler just became a TH-cam Horseman. Great review. My Jeep is 3 1/2 years old and has 58,000 miles and I love it. I don't do all the rock crawling you apparently do but just enough to get me places I want to go. It, too, is my daily driver but I am retired so daily is not the same as yours. I love having a vehicle that will take me to incredible places on this earth that I would not be able to see unless I hiked or went or horseback. I prefer to drive and crawl to these places. I am anxious to check out the rest of your channel. Thanks for the review.
I also have the ICON coilovers, and it’s my first set with adjustable dampers. But I can’t find much info on what settings to use. What do you use when rock crawling, regular trail rides, normal street driving? Love your setup.
Thanks for watching! For the rear axle, I had Morgan weld it back together on both sides. I don't think I'll be doing much else unless it becomes an issue...or unless I get bored haha
Nice review. Glad to hear your Bronco is doing well. My 2023 Badlands only has 8k miles on it but so far so good. Hope I can say that when it hits 50k.
I've done the Ford Performance Procal 4 tune on my 23 Big Bend. Couple extra ponies and torque, correcting speedo/bigger tires, and disabling the start/stop was totally worth it.
Can’t say I agree with you with not focusing on performance. Once you drive a 400+ WHP Bronco, you won’t wanna go back. Can’t leave all the fun to Jeep 392 owners 😉
The only thing I might consider a little more is rear trailing arms. Baja kits have done fantastic but I would like to do more research on what is on the market. If anything, I might skip the upper trailing arms and just install the lower.
How is the drive train holding up? Does engine feel strong and does the transmission still feel smooth, if it ever was smooth? Is the engine thirsty for oil? Have you serviced the transmission? Thanks for the info brother! I have a 2021 with 16k on it and never hit the dirt.😂
Everything still feels great! With the abuse it takes off-road, it's definitely reassuring that everything is still functioning. I'll be honest, I haven't done much with the transmission, but have done regular oil changes. I won't say you NEED to hit the dirt...but maybe consider it haha it's a lot of fun!
that alternator issue should've been solved by a recall, where they add a shield - and inregards to the front driveshaft - wasn't there recall on that too?
I know the alternator shield is a thing, but in my case, I'm not sure it would have helped. I haven't looked into the axle issue(which I believe is what you're referring to when you say front driveshaft lol) I'll have to see what they say
So you’re saying after 50K miles calling it garbage is a stretch 😅 yes, it has its quirks and challenges especially with your off roading adventures but it’s far from useless
Mines at 57k got misfire, and been sitting in dealer for 2 months. They can’t fix it. My attorney working on lemon my bronco. Just placed an order for New GX and Lc250. Bye bye Ford, and no more Ford.
Have them check the cylinder temp sensors. Mine went into limp mode began over heating and misfiring due to overheating and heat igniting the fuel prematurely. Had to have it towed to 3 dealerships before problem was found. Took 10 days in all.
This might be the most humble human I've witnessed in many years. I was looking for something completely different than what this video was about, but I'm glad the algorithm brought me here!
@wildhorses4x4 my brothers bronco raptor has 7100 miles on it...it's been sitting at the dealer for almost 5 months now. They can't fix it, won't buy it back. So it's just been sitting there while he still has to.make the payments.
Hell yeah! Loved the video. If you're not using your Bronco you're not living life. I'm at 27K miles now on my modified Badlands and loving every minute. Thanks for showing the way!
Right on! Glad you are having a blast as well!

Thank you very much! Don't mind the Jeep punch lines that we throw in every now and again haha welcome to the Horsemen!

Great video. Realistic upgrades and expectations from a real rock crawler.
Thanks a ton! I'm surprised that's all the repairs if I'm being honest haha
I have 1994 sport all white. 5.8L with 220k on it. Sumbitch runs strong. Also it’s paid for.👍
atta boy! If I can get my Bronco up to those numbers, I'll be extremely impressed haha
Another great video Mitch.
You forgot to mention the bent tailgate or was that just a dent?
That was a little dent🫢
mines at 60k km and running strong
Right on! That's awesome to hear!
That's only 37282 miles
Im at 45 000miles, offroad every week and winter driving. No problem just lots of gas and tires with 37s and the 2.7
Great walk thru, I am definitely keeping an eye on my upper link mounts. What is the plan for the rear axle? Rock Krawler 4-link and truss?
Thanks for watching! For the rear axle, I had Morgan weld it back together on both sides. I don't think I'll be doing much else unless it becomes an issue...or unless I get bored haha
@@wildhorses4x4 I drop my 2-Door off Monday for the RK 4link, portals and Hoss 3.0 rack.
Great 50,000 miles Mitch! True to the vision!
It's been great to revisit some of the memories from these past few years haha
Nice review. Glad to hear your Bronco is doing well. My 2023 Badlands only has 8k miles on it but so far so good. Hope I can say that when it hits 50k.
If mine could last this long, I’m sure yours can as well! Haha
4:30 I have the same rack, it’s fantastic!
It's an awesome product!
Awesome overview, Mitch!
Glad to hear the alternator is running in the one cleaned up, I was wondering if was still running the original or replaced with the new one.
Nope, it's still rocking! haha against all odds!
Tell u this. U have a great personality gir making this vid. I love your enthusiasm. U almost make me want to go out and destroy my wildtrak.
😂I’m not sure that’s a good or bad thing haha just do it wisely lolll
Flowmaster high clearance exhaust and bug/rock deflector are my two favorite accessories both sold by ford. Start/stop removal is also a must
I did the start/stop removal as well haha I definitely agree with you there.
I've done the Ford Performance Procal 4 tune on my 23 Big Bend. Couple extra ponies and torque, correcting speedo/bigger tires, and disabling the start/stop was totally worth it.

Haha I never said it wouldn’t be fun😂
Your a great inspiration to me in the Bronco world. Can't wait till I can get my own.
You’re gonna have a blast!
You've got to blame the Jockey wielding the wip!!! 😉😎
100%! haha
Which roll bar molle panels did u go with?
I used the ones from mountains 2 metal
If you could go back, is there any modification you would skip or do differently
The only thing I might consider a little more is rear trailing arms. Baja kits have done fantastic but I would like to do more research on what is on the market. If anything, I might skip the upper trailing arms and just install the lower.
Good to hear not blaming ford , mud caked alternator in any vehicle will kill it.
100% haha we know better
Great update 👍
Thanks! 👍

One day brother! Thanks 🤙🏼
Solid video
Thanks brotha!!!🤘🏽
What’s the next big project you plan to make
A small project would be finally getting a tire delete installed haha a big project might be tackling some new skid plates.
Given all the mods and repairs, would you say the Bronco Badlands is still a reliable daily driver?
I still drive it every day haha does it shake a lil bit? ...Yes, but that doesn't bother me all that much!
How high is the lift to fit 37s
I’ve got it adjusted to about 2” of lift
@@wildhorses4x4 Thank you my next set will goto 37s - running a Black Diamond with a 2in lift

haha...maybe waaayyy in the future when we get bored
@@wildhorses4x4I mean, it’s already out of warranty 😎
Mine is 68k miles and going strong....
I blame ford for two alternators 😅 while mudding. Second with revised cover
Ahh bummer! I was cured of the mud after I spent way too long cleaning haha
7spd 2dr 2.3l badlands no problems and it rips
Heck ya!!!
Not bad Mitch.
Thank you!
So you’re saying after 50K miles calling it garbage is a stretch 😅 yes, it has its quirks and challenges especially with your off roading adventures but it’s far from useless
Very far from useless! haha I never called it garbage. It's been a blast, and it won't be going anywhere anytime soon!
Wind is awful without aero 2 wind/rock deflector. Without it all you hear is wind on top of windshield

Hopefully you can get that resolved! That sounds like a nightmare!

Just go ahesd and say its the most capable vehicles straight off the lot. With some mods its a blast.
I can attest to it being an absolute blast!! haha
It was garbage sitting o. The dealers lot before you bought the pos.
