    Hello, Jerry. I watch your content quite often but don't comment very often even though I enjoy most of your videos. It's great to hear you're pal Tom Cat is in Remission. There's nothing better than having a furry friend. Dog cat or whatever. Hope he continues to do well. Take care.

    It's nice to see tomcat kicking around. I installed a similar tie rod years ago when someone came out with one. Been working just fine ever since. Even after bouncing off a few rocks here and there.

    Thanks for the details Jerry. I will be doing something similar to an ole CJ. You'll love the Food vacuum sealer. You can buy larger packs of meat and salmon from Costco and divide it into meal size packages. Keeps it from freezer burning as well. Cheers! And thanks for finally showing the front of a Princess Auto store. You Canadians always talk about it... I've just never seen one... Like a Chupacabra!

    I took that same setup off the LJ and replaced it with the HD Currie steering which had a lot stronger ends. Although the Rugged Ridge setup is stronger than stock, the weakness is in the end links which wear out and break often. If you can thread the end links that you got for your custom build and use those it would be much stronger. That bent link is scary and one of the reasons I took it off, I couldn't stop looking at it and all the rocks it would hit.

    1 tonne steering was well worth it on my XJ.

      I went the cheap way. I found 98 ZJ with a V8. It's not as big as 1 tons. But bigger than what came on xj.

      Can you do a ZJ steering swap on the YJ as it’s common for the TJ direct bolt in and it’s stronger

    Hi what's the best stuff to use on frame rust?

    • @garypiont6114
      @garypiont6114 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Chain saw oil. Once a year.

    • @allmycarsisbroke
      @allmycarsisbroke 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To remove the rust you need a wire brush or walnut blaster and then treat the surface with acid, clean and neutralize it, dry it quickly, and then apply POR (paint over rust) on the outside frame. Inside frame clean it up as best you can then get the paraffin thing with the long enema hose you drag it through while it sprays in every direction.

    I’m super pissed the police got two of my cars towed to impound with no warning. Now gonna cost me more money due to ignorant people. I parked my cars back in the alley years nothing stated now new people live around here my cars I put there now people complain. Now I’m loosing money. I’m ready to move out of where I am leave my house to rent out I’m sick of the nieghbors. Super sick about all this. Costing me so much then top it all off I got fines. Since I parked and blocked a street. It’s a dead end ally that people threw old weeds back there to grow over no one can make it back there. But yet fines blocking a street
