The Upper ball joint gets torqued to 75 ft lbs. The lower ball joint gets 80 ft lbs. The three 12 point bolts for the axle hub assembly 75 ft lbs. I didn’t remove the hub axle bearing. Just lossen and remove the three bolts and slide the axle out. I also didn't need to disconnect the steering tie rod end from the knuckle. On the lower ball joint i used the needle type zerk fitting. When installing the driverside ball joint face it towatds the back and the opening opening at around the 4 o'clock position. On the passengerside facing about the 8 o'clock position. If this makes sense. It easy to use the grease gun needle when greasing these ball joints. Also by doing it this way you don't have to grind the knuckle to have access to the zerk fitting. I hope this was helpful.
Thank you the video showed how to blow through it but offered little insight of finner details such as toque spec and tricks to keep from removing axle
Please hold the camera still so it can focus on what he’s doing. The host is crystal clear, but half the shots I can’t see clearly what he’s actually doing because the camera pans away.
Get teraflex - you wont have to grind 1/3rd of your knuckle away for grease clearance

Was about to order some for my YJ. After seeing him grind on the knuckle im going to pass on these.
Grinding away my knuckle is a nonstarter for me.
Are the rc good ball joints?.. I'm thinking of getting them or moog

@@vigilantemotorsYou still have that part number?

Just double check it fits your rig but it should.
Way easier to leave the axle hooked to the hub. Just one less process to do anyways

Do u have had ball joints for gm trucks
Ask me how I know😂😂😂😂 Been there too my man
It would helpful if you gave the torque specs
Do not install anything from rough country onto your rig if you care about it.
Cheap crap, learned from experience.
