- A Santour piece adapted for Oud

As a project to expand the beauty of the repertoire and make pieces sound "Oudier",
Here will come a series of adaptations of pieces from Persian Classical/Dastgah music that were originally written for or improvised on other instruments; mainly Tar and Santour; but occasionally even violin!
The adaptations for oud are first played and recorded, (and posted here) to later work as complimentary learning material as well, with a collection of sheet-music, plus exercises to prepare the interested oud player for each piece.

What’s your opinion on this oud in comparison to other oud makers ? Like Arab makers or Iranians makers like mohammadi or karimian? And what’s the tuning of the oud ?

The tuning is C G D A G D (with the last G and D being an octave lower than the second and third strings).
As for the opinion on the oud I'm playing here:
the combination of sound quality and playability opens a whole new level of possibilities for musicianship; if one is willing to open up and does not limit to the usual traditions that tend to shape tastes.

It's a part of a bigger project I'm working on, to take pieces originally written for Santour and Tar, adapt them for oud.

the Live-Stream concert with Labyrinth Catalunya is what you are asking about, right?
The setup went as follows:
Two AKG microphones, CK61-ULS (as stereo) going through a Zoom Audio-converter TAC-2, connected directly with a thunderbolt cable to a macbook.
the streaming was done with OBS (a free software) on which we added a plug-in (TAL) for reverbs.

Great playing. Is this Persian oud ? Do you know how it is different from Arabic Oud ?

The combination of 'Persian' and 'Oud' does not refer to any aspect in the oud, as an instrument and its shape and proportions itself.
The tuning also matches the so-called Arabic tuning (having a C or Do for the first treble string) vs Turkish tuning (with one wholetone higher).
The music content can differ a bit though; meaning one is playing Persian music on the Oud.
