I feel India has so much of an advanced culture. This music speaks of it. I recall doing a sound check that took 'forever' while musicians tuned up. For me 2 minutes was 'in tune' but they continued tuning for 10-15 mins into the "Super tune" zone. It seemed spiritually hypnotic. I love this video even more because of that past experience, learning how deep Indian musicians dig. I dig them...

It turns out that there is much evidence that supports the positive effects of music on one's ability to do math. Most research shows that when children are trained in music at a young age, they tend to improve in their math skills. The surprising thing in this research is not that music as a whole is enhancing math skills. It is certain aspects of music that are affecting mathematics ability in a big way. Studies done mostly in children of young age show that their academic performance increases after a certain period of music education and training. One particular study published in the journal 'Nature' showed that when groups of first graders were given music instruction that emphasized sequential skill development and musical games involving rhythmn and pitch, after six months, the students scored significantly better in math than students in groups that received traditional music instruction.

I agree with Alain, this is better than the recording studio and the album. The improvisation with Shehnai and Cello is just extra ordinary. I found this music just recently and listening to it everyday and Crying. Thank you so much Alain for sharing this soul touching music.

I m a DJ in India and my music became better and is still improving once Indian classical taught me to be one with my soul. It is the simplest thing to do yet the hardest to achieve, but eventually if you manifest you will get there and the journey is extraordinarily beautiful

The shehnai was the cherry on top of the Ice cream. Anoushka mam was as divine as always and she and her father ravi Shankar ji are my inspiration for becoming a great sitar player. They took Indian classical music to this level now it's our generation's turn.

Sometimes our hormonal balances are out of whack. A spike of estrogen and lack of testosterone can cause mood swings , emotional distress and outbursts of tears. It's completely understandable. Plenty of exercise and a protein rich diet with adequate levels of Zinc and Vit D tends to help.
