The oud is not like any guitar I play. Fingering is harder to hold and needs strong fingers. The 'hammer' strokes are deliberate and unforgiving. The rewards of finally getting right is immeasurable.

what I do not understand is why people today cannot make music anymore I play the banjo but many people do not understand the nature of tone is if corresponding through a plectrum it diminishes the tone but through the fingers there is harmony

there is no tuning to that its fine tuned its not a letter its how flat or how sharp something is
