to be fair, one is mostly a robot, one was trained by batman, one is an alien, one is pretty much a demon, and one probably went missing at some point in the form of an animal and came back calm
I still remember the comic where Lois Lane died and Superman became a sort of ruthless murderer of villains and a sort of dictator over heroes...so Alfred drank some super serum and beat the boy's ass-

Actually, this is completely unnecessary and in truth a very bad idea. The estate can't be settled until Dad either accepts the dollar bequest or signs off on refusing it. Certainly $1 is no incentive to do so. If he doesn't accept or refuse it, the estate must remain open. It can cost the estate thousands of dollars and take years to settle if you do something like this. It's better to simply put a line in your will "I leave my son, Robert John Smith, nothing." That shows he was not forgotten and there is nothing that needs to be done by him to close out the estate. (at least in the USA). There is only one state in the US that requires you leave your offspring something, and then only under some very specific and unlikely circumstances. There are only three reasons a will can be successfully contested. 14:25: The one penny tip is a similar concept, for amazingly bad service. I've only seen it used twice, and both times we were flat out ignored by the server, and received cold food when we finally did (and I think in one case, they even got the order wrong)
I have used it exactly once. When I was young, our school took us on a week-long field trip to the Florida Keys to a sorta camp thing, and it was a long bus ride. We stopped at a restaurant (our parents gave us money for meals, souvenirs, etc.), and the server apparently decided that so many little kids weren't worth bothering to deal with. She was excessively rude and dismissive, would barely acknowledge our existence, and would scoff at any request. Food was cold, and I had to rush to eat because it arrived so late, and we were on a schedule for leaving. I left a one-penny "tip" and wrote on a piece of paper: "Tip: Try being nicer to customers". I didn't say I was proud of it. She definitely was hostile, but it's still not a great thing to do to someone. Still, she really could have at least put the bare minimum of effort into her job, but I guess she just really expected that there'd be no way kids could actually leave a tip.
14:07 Even better: Put in a sentence along the lines of ‘And to [name] I leave nothing. Suck it.’ That way they can’t say that the dead person forgot them, because the will clearly states that the dead person remembered (and clearly didn’t care for) the person.

9:42 - Yes, at least 2 countries. Sweden and Finland both have fines that would be set to a number of days worth of income. Most famously some rich guy got a speeding ticket in Finland and it was for several millions. Sadly he left the country without paying it, I think they let him go even, like the whole point is that it should be a proper fine no matter how much money you have or make. Don't let someone who's never payed a proper fine in their life get away because "it seems a bit much"…
16:19 Robin, you know good and well that there are extremely popular and beloved shows that are canceled for no reason. How many Netflix shows have been assassinated for no reason? Don't even get me started on Fox.
15:20 I think it's never actually said what's in those shoulder pads, which are usually only visible with the Varia suit, not the base Power suit. But since they are in the Varia suit, I think they're the environmental shield generators for heat and cold protection, with the Gravity suit adding a localized gravity field generator.
@@DeviousDryad I mean, I guess they could also store some sort of nutrient paste or something that she imbibes while on an assignment, but then I ask... where do the snacks go if she loses the varia suit and thus the shoulder pads?
15:50 Like that one supernatural episode where a monster can only be killed by a bamboo dagger blessed by a Shinto priest and then Bobby just shoves it into a woodchipper.
It's because he's in Finland and drinks a 6-pack of beer while getting whacked with a birch whip on the back in a steamy room around 170°F every night.
6:09 I’m French, but I’m also German, so my nasals/vowels and gutterals/consonants even out. The only downside is that I’m a shorter-than-average Female with “cute” curly hair, but have a weirdly deep voice that sounds like a man is dubbing my voice over in real time.
I had a non-kid version of those fancy art kits (wealthy grandparents bought me a $100 one) and it had instructions so when I used the markers, I knew to add water also if you dip the markers in water they last longer and seem to work better.
I had the cheap one and discovered by accident they work better when you dip them in water while trying to mix them with watercolors, but I never did find out you can remove the end.

The best time to be in finland is now. The sun doesnt rise, theres ice and snow everywhere, you lose all motivation and will to live I love this country
16:22 Whose Line actually ran for a long time. It was so cheap to produce that it didn’t really matter how many people watched it, it just kept making money. It had no actual reason to go away. But when it came back, it had a surprising explosion of young viewers.
That “friend crush” thing was the reason it took me so long to realize I’m aromantic. Since I had no idea what romantic attraction was, I conflated the friend crush feeling with actual romantic attraction
Yeah. I get squishes that are really intense, but also sexual attraction that’s really intense, to where I just can’t really grasp romantic attraction since it just seems like “well since everyone says marry your best friend, are good couples not just best friends who want to have sex with each other?” and it turns out no, there’s another layer that is past that or my best friend and I wouldn’t have broken up.
A reverse flashlight would be awesome for the hot summer days. "Is the sun too bright today? Just shine this darkness projector on yourself and feel the heat escaping your body."
19:45 I heard a term called 'squish' from the I think asexual community? Like a crush, but purely platonic. And me and my friends have all experienced it.
The Teen Titans' real names are: Beast Boy - Garfield Logan; Cyborg - Victor "Vic" Stone; Raven - just Raven (later she assumes the name Rachel Roth); Starfire - Koriand'r (a.k.a. Kory Anders); Terra - Tara Markov; Robin - Dick Grayson.
Saying "honey is vegan" is like saying "milk is vegan". It's produced by an animal in some way: with bees, it's vomit (yes, you're eating puke), and with cattle/goats it's milk from their mammaries.
It's not "vegan" in the sense that "animals are not involved", but the poster seems to be trying to make the point that it's not involving cruelty and thus should be in line with vegan principles.
Fun fact about reverse flashlights : while being physically impossible in real life (as we understand it today at least), they are absolutely a thing in computer graphics. In Blender for example, literally nothing is stopping you from grabbing a light source and setting it's intensity variable to a negative number and have it behave exactly as you would expect, subtracting light from things it's pointed at. Your dreams of sending someone to the shadow realm by pointing a light at them might someday be possible in VR !

As a fur, I would not want someone flaunting it in class either The Buffy/Dracula thing reminds me of Supernatural. "Did you use a bamboo dagger blessed by a Shinto Priest?" 'No, I used a woodchipper.' "I'm pretty sure that trumps pretty much anything"

Congrats on making it to Finland, Robin! I notice you mention Finland sometimes, because I'm kinda the same way except with Norway, I love the culture and want to keep learning about it and would be thrilled to go there someday. It's always nice to hear someone who's so fond of Scandinavia, talking about how nice it must be up there. I'm very happy that you finally get to visit Finland, it must be a dream come true for you! :)
I like how 13:47 also ignores the fact Alfred Pennyworth was also a former intelligence operative with training on weapons handling and taking out serious bad guys and not some mentally ill man with clown makeup.

11:45 If you have twins, give birth to them on a timezone border. Birth the first one on the earlier side and then scoot over and birth the second one on the later side. That way, even though the first is technically "born first" it won't be "the oldest" because the other one will be born "just under an hour after" the first one. Then you can tease them about it and they can tell it as a joke for the rest of their lives.
2:20 actually linkin park and the genre it's in (which I'll just call edgy metal) has been making a comeback this last year, mostly through dmc5 and mgrr getting a spotlight
18:50 I remember this, it’s essentially a thought experiment to see how we connect phonetics to certain things, such as shapes. Most people would say that the shape on the right is “kiki” due to the sharper sound that the K makes, which correlates to the sharp ends of the shape. The shape on the right would be “Bouba”due to its more relaxed and flowing sound, similar to the dull edges of the shape.
17:19 - Read the URL :) 18:44 - That's Frank! (Nostalgebraist-autoresponder) Frank is Tumblr's favourite bot. She was made to recreate her creator's way of posting. That is why it is a Turing test. 18:28 actually that’s advice for women near their pregnancy due date (like in the week before) since their cervix might be dilated and will intake dirty water and get infected. Most pregnant women have to take showers when they reach this state. Or at least that’s what I learned, idk if it’s right
When my 91yr old fathers girlfriend threatened to break up if he didn’t sign over some of his properties to her, he told her he was leaving something for her in his Will to help her because she earned it. He left her $1
The bouba and kiki thing is that there's this study that shows that in most cultures in the world, practically everyone says they would call the spiky one kiki and the roundish one bouba. The person who replies said the opposite, which freaked out another person who claimed they couldn't be human. Basically
its not a Turing test its basic psychology. most people would say that Kiki is to the left as its easy to associate those sounds to a sharper and more spiky object, while Bouba is on the right as the deeper more rounded tones are easily connected with softer and more rounded object to match:) there's wiki article about it, id recommend giving it a short read though if anyone finds this kinda stuff interesting!

18:55 for context, the "person" who responded to the ask isn't a person, but a bot created to mimic a tumblr user.
Don't let someone who's never payed a proper fine in their life get away because "it seems a bit much"…
At around 18:54, the Turing Test joke was because nostalgebraist-autoresponder got the answer to a meme wrong, and is an AI account.
16:19 Robin, you know good and well that there are extremely popular and beloved shows that are canceled for no reason. How many Netflix shows have been assassinated for no reason? Don't even get me started on Fox.
2:26 I’m an artist and I still feel like I’m at my peak artistry whenever I use one of those
15:20
I think it's never actually said what's in those shoulder pads, which are usually only visible with the Varia suit, not the base Power suit.
But since they are in the Varia suit, I think they're the environmental shield generators for heat and cold protection, with the Gravity suit adding a localized gravity field generator.
No they’re for snacks
@@DeviousDryad I mean, I guess they could also store some sort of nutrient paste or something that she imbibes while on an assignment, but then I ask... where do the snacks go if she loses the varia suit and thus the shoulder pads?
@@FizzieWebb She eats them all really fast
15:50
Like that one supernatural episode where a monster can only be killed by a bamboo dagger blessed by a Shinto priest and then Bobby just shoves it into a woodchipper.
3:54 this is "the wreck it ralph vs Thor Ragnarök" thing all over again
Is it me or does Robin's voice sound low and oh so super smooth in this video? Sooo soothing~!! ♥
It's because he's in Finland and drinks a 6-pack of beer while getting whacked with a birch whip on the back in a steamy room around 170°F every night.
@@ouzeir8439 yeah, i thought so.
6:09 I’m French, but I’m also German, so my nasals/vowels and gutterals/consonants even out. The only downside is that I’m a shorter-than-average Female with “cute” curly hair, but have a weirdly deep voice that sounds like a man is dubbing my voice over in real time.
Oh my god, I have the same "curly hair - deep voice" thing! 😂
Except I probably sound like a 16 year old guy with a vaping addiction...
13:42 it was literally alfred the one who trained batman and taught him everything he knows
18:54 Maybe it's new as a turing test, but the Bouba-Kiki test is a psychology test invented in 1929! It is NOT new.
Anyway, decently fun video! Man, I've missed having Tumblr videos from you so much! They are absolutely the best! Thanks for uploading, & here's looking forward to more like this from you!
The best time to be in finland is now. The sun doesnt rise, theres ice and snow everywhere, you lose all motivation and will to live
I love this country
17:50 the honey is just the bee’s puke. They almost certainly care if it disappears.
12:35
reminds me
windows starts naming drives from C,D,E etc...
because A and B are reserved for FLOPPY DISKS
Fun fact about reverse flashlights : while being physically impossible in real life (as we understand it today at least), they are absolutely a thing in computer graphics.
In Blender for example, literally nothing is stopping you from grabbing a light source and setting it's intensity variable to a negative number and have it behave exactly as you would expect, subtracting light from things it's pointed at.
Your dreams of sending someone to the shadow realm by pointing a light at them might someday be possible in VR !
5:21 Haha dang.... this last part hit real hard
11:01 i was so waiting for the punch line to be that they were born on completely different days but then mid typing this comment i realized they meant 12 AM, not PM
artificial darkness is when a TV show records in daylight but put a filter on it looking like the moon is always bright AF
I prefer that to the action movies filmed in sewers with nothing but a single candle illuminating their fast-paced fight sequences
In middle school I found out if you become a swedish citizen you can get a visa to go to Japan and I was a weeb so I looked up how to become a legal swedish citizen when I found out you could get adopted so I looked up how to get adopted in Switzerland for like a week straight.
This doesn't have anything to do with the video I just wanted to say it
10:45
Yeah, but when Genie says the same thing as part of a song and dance number, he actually GETS friends.
15:08 Who is going to try and argue with a huge eldritch being? it is part of the definition of an eldritch being that you can't argue with them
As a fur, I would not want someone flaunting it in class either
The Buffy/Dracula thing reminds me of Supernatural. "Did you use a bamboo dagger blessed by a Shinto Priest?" 'No, I used a woodchipper.' "I'm pretty sure that trumps pretty much anything"
After you kiss someone you tell them "dam bitch you kiss like that"if you want to make them insecure about the way they live
Mini edit:i wanted to say kiss but live is also pretty good
Tell them they're dad was better.
IM DEAD
I need Robin to make a Taco Bell Tier list video one day. Have it be a joke episode or something
I think we broke robin cause now he's looking at one of the more fun subreddits and he's still angry at it qwp
Note: alfred is the one who trained bruce in some of his martial art skills. Bro doesn't need a gun.
Hi Robin, I'm glad you manadged to Finnish the video, even from so far away!
did you just-
"Reverse Flashlight"
Luigi's Mansion 2 and 3 have a 'dark' flashlight attachment (called the 'dark-light device'). It is used to find hidden objects
I like how 13:47 also ignores the fact Alfred Pennyworth was also a former intelligence operative with training on weapons handling and taking out serious bad guys and not some mentally ill man with clown makeup.
I heard that in some places rich a holes were parking in fire lanes so much that they changed the penalty from a fine to getting your car towed straight to the dump and crushed.
8:41 surprise amity from The Owl House
I actually got surprised
Oh, dope, I hope Robin is having a good time in Finland. Bet the ol' sleep schedule got ruined, tho.
2:42 this is what happens when you don’t look at the instructions (although half the time they never existed)
They don’t tell you how to refill the water so you buy more sets.
3:03 You can already tell this dude was awesome
11:45 If you have twins, give birth to them on a timezone border. Birth the first one on the earlier side and then scoot over and birth the second one on the later side. That way, even though the first is technically "born first" it won't be "the oldest" because the other one will be born "just under an hour after" the first one. Then you can tease them about it and they can tell it as a joke for the rest of their lives.
2:20 actually linkin park and the genre it's in (which I'll just call edgy metal) has been making a comeback this last year, mostly through dmc5 and mgrr getting a spotlight
13:31 fun fact, alfred once almost killed superman with his bare hands
15:35
Theyre saying that the new class that just dropped is OP, basically
18:50 I remember this, it’s essentially a thought experiment to see how we connect phonetics to certain things, such as shapes. Most people would say that the shape on the right is “kiki” due to the sharper sound that the K makes, which correlates to the sharp ends of the shape. The shape on the right would be “Bouba”due to its more relaxed and flowing sound, similar to the dull edges of the shape.
17:19 - Read the URL :)
18:44 - That's Frank! (Nostalgebraist-autoresponder) Frank is Tumblr's favourite bot. She was made to recreate her creator's way of posting. That is why it is a Turing test.
My favourite post of hers is one where someone asks her "Are you gay" and she replies "I am, but it's just one of the boring common traits shared by about 95% of Tumblr users"
The joke at 4:09 got ruined by the censoring... Old as H*** doesn't work. Old as F*** does, had to rewatch it, and notice the key word was changed to get the joke.
10:09 almost forgot about inigo, if you still play Skyrim, download his mod off Nexus and head to the riften jail, this dude is the best follower ever. Also you can get a spell that summons him and when you hold it it just whispers "inigo. Inigo. Inigo."
Love that adorable purple-blue cat goofball
11:10 Just wait till you find out about special relativity.
Lmao this is my kind of shit
1 minute in and already giggled
emkay's built different. like ddoi on steroids.
18:28 actually that’s advice for women near their pregnancy due date (like in the week before) since their cervix might be dilated and will intake dirty water and get infected. Most pregnant women have to take showers when they reach this state.
Or at least that’s what I learned, idk if it’s right
1:47 If so, then I agree. Disney should make Muppet movies. :'D
When my 91yr old fathers girlfriend threatened to break up if he didn’t sign over some of his properties to her, he told her he was leaving something for her in his Will to help her because she earned it. He left her $1
Reverse flashlight is just anything positioned strategically to create the shadow you want
13:25 there is an actual Comic where Alfred beat up Superman, and won.
the first one is literally the equivalent of "you're going to the shadow realm, Jimbo!"
Where do I apply for a job in Hell? It's gotta be better than where I'm working now.
Your place will have an application somewhere... they all do... I know mine does and I'm thinking of a move ... maybe I'll be the statue on the left.
Thanks for the personal touch @20:46 Robin 👍
The bouba and kiki thing is that there's this study that shows that in most cultures in the world, practically everyone says they would call the spiky one kiki and the roundish one bouba. The person who replies said the opposite, which freaked out another person who claimed they couldn't be human. Basically
I got color changing lightbulbs recently and also thought dark bulbs would be really cool.
I was moved to tears so many times with ruroni kenshin AMVS with linkin park audio 💔 rip Chester.
its not a Turing test its basic psychology. most people would say that Kiki is to the left as its easy to associate those sounds to a sharper and more spiky object, while Bouba is on the right as the deeper more rounded tones are easily connected with softer and more rounded object to match:)
there's wiki article about it, id recommend giving it a short read though if anyone finds this kinda stuff interesting!
I am pretty sure Finland is one of the countries that have that way of fines. Where you pay based of your income.
as it should be.
@@rustythecrown9317 I agree.
Deep fryer is just a little guy. A little creature
10:02
I miss the story's the guy who made the inigo mod used to tell I cant remember their username name and I cant tell their real name but damn do I miss those art classes.
Why do I feel like he read it "movies were a creature" at 3:36
I may have commented on this one before, but I watched it again and just wanted to say, thanks for saying "hi, how are ya." I needed that today! 🙂
On rich people and fines: heck, if they're corporations, they can then claim the fines as tax deductions.
tumblr is just a site for posts that make you think/feel "yeah, I don't like knowing or thinking about that. please stop"
either that, or posts that make you go "haha, yeah I guess"
