🌴🌺 this was an incredible story! When he was talking about how you’re not a part of the organization, your family is the first one to shun you or mistreat you. I asked that question why does this happen? If Jesus is love nobody can answer in our own human nature. We are not created that way. They are told to do this. They are told to behave in this manner and thats what makes it even more of a cult and believable that it is what it is.
Great interview! I commend you for being very open about what you went through. I was told that if I didn’t get baptized, that my children would die! So because I did that and later left the cult. I also lots my mother and she is shunning me now for the past 12years.

Yes , my husband would pray before dinner and would pray God to feed brothers and sister around the world, aftwerwards I was like , why don’t you pray for everyone??? He was like huh, oh um yeah, I guess it’s better to pray that way. He looked at our young daughter and she was like yeah pray for everyone! But as a JW you are taught to just care for other witnesses. Screw the wordly people! lol Crazy after waking up realize what a jerk I was!!
I not too long ago got lectured because a sister who happens to live in my building with her husband overheard me and my best friend Karleen talking about how we more spiritual than religious and she was telling me about her brother’s fiancé who like me, is a spiritual empath and clairvoyant and into tarot and does readings, and can help me continue learning more about all those things and will even me give me a free tarot reading.. and we were talking about going on paranormal investigations with her future sister in law… the JW sister did not like overhearing all that.. (tbh it’s kinda crazy how she stuck around to hear all that lol…🤣🤦🏽♀️ I also got lectured because before that she overheard me talking with my gay bestie Brandon about one of our favorite shows.. law & order svu.. & heard me saying my celebrity crushes are Mariska Hargitay and Ice T. Oh and because I have a boyfriend who is not a JW or a Bible student.
When you said some of the worst people you have ever met were JW's it's so true, have lived in "the world" for about half my life now you definitely see it, not everyone in "the world" is a bad person
I enjoyed hearing your story, keep living your life on your terms, all religions are man-made, therefore, the only truth you have is what you live and do, it is not found in any religion, especially JW's, also, they misuse the word apostate. I will never be a part of that religion again, or any other religion. All of them are man-made. truth be told the bible is a book with different lessons and stories it's not meant to be followed but one can draw knowledge from the experiences and lessons. The Bible is full of symbolism and metaphors and should not be taken literally, yes we can learn from it but not in the way we have been taught, we all are spiritual beings having a human experience, and each one has a different assignment to complete this human mission. . It was never meant for all to be the same, which includes having our own thoughts and goals separate from any other human, that is why it is hard for so many to abide by the JW's rules and regulations. For some reason, it's a part of our life path to have encountered the Jehovah's Witness religion to help us on our way to conquer our purpose. Hell, I can start a religion it's nothing more than a business. Wishing you all much success in life.
