    I love that winter one man those poles really open it up. That might be enough to get me away from my Mamajamba.

    what would be the best tarp for using as a shelter at camp to put over a tent to setup and have a place to hang out when raining.

    Wow, just what I been looking at getting ready to ask you to customize for me me. Can you do a 12 or 13 ft ridge length?

    Good stuff. I know that silpoly is supposed to absorb less water than silnylon. I'm in the market for a winter tarp, but am concerned about the massive surface area of a large tarp and the wind loads that it will be subjected to. Nylon, being somewhat more flexible, should be better at distributing the load evenly over each panel, and the seams, being flexible as well, might have the same advantage over polyester. The hoop will certainly make a difference. I really want the best, not just the most affordable/ best dollar per performance & longevity. Should I go with silpoly or .51 DCF?

    Just wondering why this isn't a standard option, but would it be possible to get a square 138" version?

    Love it Dutch! It’s obvious you all know and care about your customers needs!
    Did the winter tarp have poles in it to create that rounded arch?

    Hey, Dutch...do the wide tarps (looking at a wide winter now) come with double Beastie D's on all the ground tie-outs if you don't order the pole mods? I don't know that I would use pole mods, but adding them later without modding the tarp would be great. Thanks.

    • @dutch3323
      @dutch3323  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, all the wide tarps come with the double beastie d rings automatically.

    Stay away from the pole mods, they are a waste of money! They bent the very first time I used them after the wind flipped my tarp. That wasn't cool but the customer service was a joke. I explained what happened and they wanted me to send it all back to them. I did that and they did nothing because it wasn't a manufactures defect. Then what was the point in sending it out?! Hammock Gear from now on.
