Yes, I started as a confessor and use this build. I also use a bleed dagger for bosses as backup. It's crazy good till caelid area. Get a good armor and you will be fine.
Sadly the flocking canvis talisman is tied to a questline but a good item to have its gowry questline but its more or less the ring of firstborns sun ty for showcases the lighting
Buffing dex for faster cast time and with items that reduce fp cost and make so incants cost nothing while keeping mind and endurance stats equal to really get the most cast is what makes this build tones of fun.
You can also use the Ancient dragon's lightning strike and spear for this build. It is found in Crumbling Farum Azula , but unfortunately u can only acces it in late game after defeating fire giant. I am also a faith dex user , and those 2 spells with bolt of gansaxx is amazing.
id really like to see you a build using faith and int equally rn I'm using the sword of fire and night and the dragonscale blade and using cold spells as well as black pyromancies this lets me build up a frostbite debuff and than do massive damage with the black pyromancies and mixing in weapon arts and melee attacks
I've been using a faith dex build I use the lightning spear and the frenzy sniper move with the black flame fireball and the fell God fireball move. I've pretty much beat the shit out of everything that rolls my way. I get excited when I have to fight undead enemies. That winged scythe skill is stupid op. At 45 faith with the two fingers talisman and like 23 dex I'm doing over 1600 damage between both hits. It staggers the shit out of everyone, and it has a crazy wide arch and hit box. I hit people whove rolled behind me all the time. Im Trying to add the dragon incantations to my bag.
Been wanting to try magic after playing most dex/str build my main concern is just running out of mana on bosses and having to rely on way less health pots and being squishy to finish the fight with a wimpy little sword

Items
- Faith Knot Crystal Tear (bonus faith)

And it deals pure dmg. Thats huge too.
@@jonnymario771 oh for sure, sadly it kind of falls off in terms of damage by the time you get to the Royal Capital so imbuing Claws with Holy, Lightning, or Fire tends to do more damage. Like a +3 Sword of the Serpents God imbued with Holy does the same amount of damage as the Cipher at +6 when I had 50 Faith. Which is honestly sad, once it was +12 the difference got big. Luckily there’s a weapon that’s exactly like the Cipher but better in the capital so it ain’t so bad. Carries me early game super hard
I found this build interesting and have only played a little on it so far and its probably the most fun and satisfying build i have(so far). Thx for showing this awesome and fun class^^
That's an insane tactic :)
What’s your faith stat at?
Amazing video man, keep it up!
Hello pal, in order to get the katana in Deathtouched Catacombs do I need to farm a bit or I can go there right away from the start? I just got my mount and unlocked the map through another guide.
Love your videos my dude. I was looking at some of your other builds you did and they are all cool to try out. I was hoping someone would do a Frost/Ice Greatsword/Axe build and hopefully you can make a video on it to test it out. Im still exploring a lot of the spots I missed to get a Frost build myself but it seems most of the "better" equipment and incants for it are like midgame. Anyways keep it up and again, very thorough and informative video for these builds👏👏
Good job man, nice build very informative, maybe you can make mid/late game this build gonna be cool to see what potential this build have.
Man i real love your video good info love it.
I got a question can you make a black knife build. Love the style pls love en respect from the Nederlands
Awesome tips! I’ll defo be using some of these spells for my paly build. I didn’t know where to start as I never played a non melee build in any souls game 🤣
bro im thinking of buying elden ring and im gonna buy today i decided and wanted a build but when i read comments yall sound like scientists you all have so much knowledge on the game its crazy any early game tips anyone could give for a solo player?
Could the confessor be a good starting build for this ?
Besides the chest piece, where are these armor pieces from?
Thanks! I'm trying to make a zues build. but I want some dex gauntlets.
Thanks for this build? 1st time DS player and I made a keen Dex samurai but having some struggles on the way, I’m thinking of converting my Samurai to this build. Do you think this is the most OP build for samurais that you’ve made?
new to souls game but even if i picked a class that’s not recommended for certain builds does boosting attributes for other characters allow you to play classes however you want ?
Yes. You would just have to level up more to put points into faith and intelligence VS a pre-setup classes that are closer to this build
Would this build be viable for an early Confessor as well?
Yes, I started as a confessor and use this build. I also use a bleed dagger for bosses as backup. It's crazy good till caelid area. Get a good armor and you will be fine.
Sadly the flocking canvis talisman is tied to a questline but a good item to have its gowry questline but its more or less the ring of firstborns sun ty for showcases the lighting
Buffing dex for faster cast time and with items that reduce fp cost and make so incants cost nothing while keeping mind and endurance stats equal to really get the most cast is what makes this build tones of fun.
Does Carian Filligreed Crest even decrease the FP cost of incantations?
Thanks for this!
this is kind of what i ended up with so far, and your video showed me the 28 faith lightning move so its gonna be sick
I'm so doing this man the lighting looks awesome
I love this build but I have a few questions if u don't mind dpj
Some awesome spells that will help my build thank you.
Attribute recommendations?
Great video 🌩️🌩️🌩️
You can also use the Ancient dragon's lightning strike and spear for this build. It is found in Crumbling Farum Azula , but unfortunately u can only acces it in late game after defeating fire giant. I am also a faith dex user , and those 2 spells with bolt of gansaxx is amazing.
id really like to see you a build using faith and int equally rn I'm using the sword of fire and night and the dragonscale blade and using cold spells as well as black pyromancies this lets me build up a frostbite debuff and than do massive damage with the black pyromancies and mixing in weapon arts and melee attacks
There a frozen lightning miracles, I think I got them from a weird dragon man mini boss in the lake of sofria
The golden order seal will give you insane scaling on int/faith.
@@mikehunt4265 yeah i've just stumbled on that last night lol it was great timing
Good luck in endgame with this build. You will need it... faith resistance *cough cough*
Thank you!
Yo dude what stats priorities at this build? More at fate or dex ? Or make it Equally?
For curiosity. If you had to choose between incantations or dex weapons instead, which would you do?
Well done!
How do you use the electrify armament skill? I can't get it to cast. The skill is greyed out
I have a +6 Twinblade (with sacred weapon ashes of war) for a similar build. Is it worth farming smithing stones to switch to Uchigatana?
I mostly run a end game faith/arcane build that mostly do debuff and status ailment with bosses and uses the mimic lol
What armor did you use?
1:50 nice!
Stat spread suggestions?
Will there be an update for this build for the late game? I would love to see a late game guide for it
THX I was looking for a build dex/faith and this si perfect, but I rather use two katanas
Been wanting to try magic after playing most dex/str build my main concern is just running out of mana on bosses and having to rely on way less health pots and being squishy to finish the fight with a wimpy little sword
I'm basically doing this build. But with the guardian sword spear
