Shinobi time! The Ninja Choke, in honor of Half Sumo collective we show some set ups to this sneaky choke. Enjoy! Be sure to put notifications on! We release a new video every sunday!
Osú! Thank you! Last month we released a new instructional mixing more stuff with rubber guard and Shawn Williams guard into submissions. Might be something for you/your game 🙌🏼
Quick question. Could you, rather than looking for the RNC grip, finish a choke by pulling the forearm of the dug in arm. Similar to an Arm Out Guillotine but with the head on the opposite side.
So yes you could switch to that grip, however; seeing the choke is more a squeeze (like a darce or rnc) as opposed to a guilotine (which is more upward). The figure 4 grip is best for that specific compression pressure. Also the backside of my 2nd arm (elbow) is keeping a nice frame on top of their head so they can't posture up and out of the choke. I hope that's clear and answers your question!
Yes sir! You can find all our gyms (we are in several cities) on our website; energia-martialarts.com (link should also be on our channel). Our HQ is in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands.
He won't. As shown it's about not being able to finish the guilotine. He starts stripping the grip. Around the 5:00 min mark you see my biceps/elbow/triceps never leaving the backside of his skull. That's what's preventing him from pulling his head back up/regaining posture. Give it a try 👌🏼
@@Nenad-ICXC-Shuput-GFAMMA that looks like a good moment to pull the head out but 1) at normal speed that would be a split second whilst he is fighting the guilltine grip. 2) as stated, try it out and keep a strong back-elbow on his head and crunching your own body up. But sure. There is always an escape or answer. Very well spotted 😆👌🏼

Ninja Choke! One of my favourites! A fighter scored one at show I commentated on recently and I was loving it!
Ohw thats dope! Is there a video of that? Super curious on his setup. Yeah I think it's a very underrated sub.
This is super helpful! I have short arms and struggle to get Darce chokes, so this option looks better for my body type.
Happy to help brother! 🙌🏼🙏

2:25 pistol grip would work better in this position in guard, instead of RNC grip.
Thank you, gotta give that a try. Thanks for sharing, appreciate it 🙌🏼

Why would oponent ever keep his head and posture down for you to be able to switch from gilliotine to ninja ?

@@EnergiaMartialArts the point is, ninja chokes are not efficient from full guard.
@@Nenad-ICXC-Shuput-GFAMMA I disagree
Good video but I constanstly heard "ezekiel" and that made me look for a gi sleeve LOL
Hahaha yeah his name is confusing in that matter XD We should do a gi video with that choke with him right?!
