An Adult Beginners Guide to Improvisation: Introductory statement

I have spent a year teaching myself to play keyboard percussion. Now I want to learn how to improvise, and I think this book, Snidero Essence of the Blues is just the ticket.
In this video series I'm going to record my progress through all the etudes. I'm hoping that by the end of this I will be able to actually do it.
