So...what do you think? Anyone else on the "SOPs are great but not essential" bandwagon? 😉

Love it! Regarding step 5, what if you're not the expert, and it's for a role you've never hired for previously that's completely outside your domain? What other ways can help give guidance before needing to source an external expert/advisor?

Hey Kareem! This is a great question!
If you have a team member who knows the process, have that team member join the meeting instead.
Try to link the new team member with someone who knows and completes the process as close to reality as it gets.

Really good video, Layla! Very thoughtful from start to finish with plenty of flair! 🙌🙌🐿🐿! One of the things I like is how the process spins off some intangible benefits, like providing a way to contribute on Day 1, and engaging a peer expert to communicate how things are done. I have a question though. What if I'm hiring into a position that already has the basic SOPs roughly in place. Is it valuable for the new person to create an individualized self-written SOP? Or, is there an alternative onboarding process that retains some of the intangible benefits?

Hey! What we do at ProcessDriven is allow the employee to see the SOP and adjust as needed. Sometimes that involves a complete redo, sometimes it's changing a few steps. Hope this helps!

This is helpful. Question for you- I’m currently building my ClickUp account and have the basic level (one member, up to 5 guests). Can this be done with “guests”, or should I upgrade to a higher subscription level?

Guest Access can be enough -- at least to start. You can always upgrade later if you find it too restrictive! :)
