To be honest, I was kind of disappointed that this doesn't sound as battle-engaging as the actual boss fight version, but after playing through the game once I'm not even mad about it. In fact I'm actually glad this was chosen, although I still wonder how the boss battle version would sound remixed
I like that its a little bit of a tribute to the whole series, you've got I'll face myself's emotional moments, so that its Never more's main leitmotif, but you can hear *just* a bit of a part of Burn my dread just after a minute in, and the more Jazzy sounding instruments during the solo add some of P5's flavor to the song as a whole. Very well done, if I'm reading it right.

Eh, kinda wished this incorporated more of the actual melody of I'll Face Myself rather than just sorta blaring out the main theme of Persona 4. The heavy guitar solos really carried the original. But it's a good track on its own.

It would probably sound similar to the reincarnation remix, that also mixes both versions of the song but with the battle theme being the main focus.
Facts! I felt the same way but then I watched the animation and played some of the game and WOW does this remix hit hard now!
