We broke up for almost 6 months. Weeks after the break up i started to reflect on our relationship and realise how unappreciative i was. Do i regret abt the break up? Yes but at that point of time he has already made the decision to let things go. 5 Months later he called me telling me he couldn’t forget me. By then ive moved on but still decided gave us a chance as i feel that i might not be able to find someone like him again. Im glad we gave each other another chance to work things out. Now we are happily married with a boy. Im also glad we had this 6 months break to realise how much we mean to each other.

my boyfriend and i just broke up yesterday but ik he was my person and my soulmate. he said he needed space and time to fix himself and fix his mental health due to the argument phase we were going through. i know i was part of the problem and with this time apart, i know i can mature and grow. i still have hope that we will get back together in the future, i don’t want anyone else but him and he has told me the same while we were together, i hope he still feels the same. this video makes me feel better and gives me a lot of hope, but i’m also scared we won’t ever come back to each other like these couples did :/

Ik I’m late on this but yeah same, me and my ex broke up a month ago so we could focus on ourselves and fix ourselves and we also talked about how possibly when we finish highschool or even college, we would probably give each other another chance. Funny thing I told him is that I wouldn’t date anybody else because in my opinion I don’t think I would find anybody who is just like him. Tbh the video has also made me think positive

“You’ll never know how much someone means to you until you let them go” its been coming to 6 years since my relationship broke apart. He is seeing someone new now. Every day I still wish I could wake up to a text message from him. I never hope his current r/s will break apart because I know if its meant to be, we will finally find our way back to e/o. I believe that if the love gets back it just means that it doesn't even lose even if they are apart on each other.

I was in a relationship with my boyfriend Aris for 4 years and we broke up because of the stress we had that time and then after 2 years we saw each other again at a rooftop party and he got jelous of a guy i was dancing and came over me and took me to talk privetly and from then on we were back together and we started to travel

cant blv im here. me and my bf broke up in 2011, just 6mos after i gave birth to our son. 10yrs after, we are now back together and will be soon married. we were young that time and so immature. the time we were apart i guess was a learning process to both of us. now we're both 31 yo and we think we have become responsible and mature already. i hope this 2nd chance works!

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. I broke up with him during our 2nd, after being on a relationship high since we got together everything game crashing down that 2nd year.
2 weeks after our break up I met someone else, everything I thought I wanted in paper. I was in for a rude awakening! I CRIED and CRIED after realizing my mistake. One day I was crying hysterically missing my boyfriend after coming back from hanging out with my temporary distraction at that time thinking “did I just throw away the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me?” I was driving on the highway and had to pull over because my eyes were so blurry from crying I couldn’t drive.
Eventually we got back together two weeks after the highway incident. And I had never been more in love with a person. Sometimes I wish we would’ve never broken up but when I really think about it I don’t regret that we had to go trough that bump because I probably would’ve never realized how you truly don’t know what you have til it’s gone.
We came out stronger and have never looked back. After that I was sure he is the person I want to spend the rest of my days with

my bf and i broke up because i fell into a depression dealing with medical trauma, going to doctors and getting surgeries. he was always there for me to support me and was there taking care of me during recovery, but i was hurting so much inside and i took it out on him. we love each other a lot, but the relationship needed to end so that i could heal and so he doesn't have to keep dealing with me. we both needed to breathe. i hope i can be able to kiss him again...and call him mine again one day

Today my boyfriend and i broke up after 9 months of dating. We’re only seniors in HS right now, but I knew he was the one. He lied to me multiple times but I would still forgive him the problem was that I got insecure and paranoid ,constantly going off on him because I was upset. I saw how immature I was but I feel like he wanted the break up most because he wanted time off for himself first. He never expressed his feelings in a good way and he said so himself. Our problem was lack of communication, and immaturity. I’m not doing so well because i lost a close friend along the way. So now I have no boyfriend nor my only best friend. I know it’s the best. A part of me wishes to get back together but i dont know the future.

We broke up late August of 2018 because we were fighting all the time (mainly on my end) but we both still loved each other and we were best friends and each other's other half. We didn't talk for about a month, then started seeing each other again when his father fell really ill...
My ex was in and out of the hospital constantly and we could no longer sustain a partnership. I was going through my own loss and so many other horrible life shattering events, and he just couldn't be there for me anymore. He started ghosting me and eventually told me he needed to be on his own. I was absolutely devastated beyond belief.
About a week after he told me that, his father passed away. No one was expecting it and it has destroyed my ex. I thought I would never see him again and we never stood a chance after that, but somehow it brought us together again. It somehow made him realize that our time spent together wasn't all for nothing and that we belong together..
Ever since that day he lost his father, he has told me nearly every day that he could never see himself with anyone else, that I'm all he wants, and that our breakup was the worst mistake he has ever made in his life.
I've kept my distance because I've gone through so much on my own and I'm not ready to get back together just yet, but it will happen.
I was his first everything and he is the most loyal and faithful human being I have ever known. Since we broke up, he hasn't even talked to a single female, and I haven't talked to anyone like that either. If he had, there is just no way I could ever get back with him. I respect the couples who were able to date other people and get back together. I just could never. It would tear me apart

My one and half year bf left from taking a break to break up with me. My heart broke to pieces. But yet I started to see my problems in this relationship, I really didn't show him enough affection & I lost my temper too easily. He also didn't express what he felt bad about so one day he exploded... We had a lot of great times still. He told me he still has feelings for me, but he felt the love felt like good friends, I'm so sad, willing to change myself to be a better person.
