1. Louis definitely loved his ex. He just was really bad at communicating so she left him. Her and his ex best friend getting together was definitely sour on their part but I’m glad that he took the initiative to have a convo with his ex and get the closure from the situation he deserved.

I think in her heart she knew he didn’t love her the way she wanted him to so she subconsciously didn’t say anything to keep her image of their relationship a reality. Communication is key. This year I’ll be celebrating my 27th wedding anniversary. If I had any advice it would be: validate each other’s feelings, don’t sweat the small stuff, don’t bring up the past in arguments, laugh a lot and enjoy each other’s company. Don’t try and change each other, sometimes we can change a little bit but most often we don’t. So if your partner is a drinker, smoker, doesn’t want children, has different core values than you etc .. you will have to decide if it’s something you are willing to accept.
Date nights, playing board/video games, laughing, touching, compromising, understanding and caring, I believe all these things bring out the positives of being in a relationship and help you become a team. Don’t be afraid to be silly with each other. Good luck everyone!
I agree, specifically with the core values. Take the time when you first start talking to someone to really understand their view on things. I was talking to a girl for like a month before her political views actually came up and I was sad when it turned out we didn't agree on literally anything! It just ends up being a waste of time, so now I make sure to talk about things that actually matter, especially when first starting the conversation

1. Bailey really thought she was exclusive with that man because he said he wasn't seeing anyone and that he was her first sexual partner. The only time you're exclusive is if there is a conversation about it between the two parties. The naivety is on show! I think Tre takes advantage of this.
2. Louis may have not been the best boyfriend to his ex. However for her to begin to date his really close friend is cold. Also, Louis' friend is not a friend.

Louis and his ex-girlfriend were together for 3 years. That is a serious relationship with deep and complex emotions. As a friend or best friend , as Louis describes the relationship with this guy , you wouldn't date a serious ex. Also for the best friend and ex to pursue each other shows a lack of respect for Louis. A lack of respect is shown in the timing of the new relationship.They grew closer because they were experiencing breakups at the same time (the ex-girlfiend with Louie). How can you draw closer and pursue your best friend's ex girlfriend, while both your best friend and her are still processing the breakup?

Someone who was his best friend in the past could theoretically be someone he hasn't spoken to in years. That was my logic. Your ex dating anyone right after you break up is going to be painful. That, to me, is a sign that neither party are emotionally mature enough to be in a relationship if they don't know how to be single in their healing.
