    It’s nice to hear stories like this because there’s so many people talk about how an ex is an ex for a reason and you deserve better and better person is yet to come. I’ve been through breakups before and I know stage stage how I would feel but usually you do get to a point where you don’t want that person back and so on. But with this one I believe that he will come back and this had to happen for a reason for us both to grow onto the next level of our journey together.

    Thank you so much for this conversation. I am currently going through a breakup due to mental health and noticing huge codependency within me. It’s broken me wide open, but I have so much hope that we can come back to each other. Trusting that our growing and healing can bring us back together, but it feels so unsure. I know I won’t leave me here, no matter what happens it is leaving me better and am so thankful. Send us some prayers!

    Wow this was impactful! I’m currently separated from my ex partner. We both needed some growth and I know I’ve done that on my end. I recently opened the door of communication with her again but we will see how that goes. The points that they brought up was so powerful of being steadfast in saying and sharing your truth and honesty. I know i need to be more confident in speaking that and being honest with her and myself about what I need and want while giving her space for that as well.

    This has me interested in how interracial couples have worked through the awakenings that have happened on a collective level in the last year. I have heard of a lot of interracial couples that have struggled deeply with this... it's a lot to hold.!

    I’m really happy I came across your channel today. I just ordered your book. It will arrive on Monday. I’m a conflict avoider. And it cost me the love of my life. We broke up in January, but held on. But didn’t resolve anything. So close to 9 months later, we are both in ALOT of pain. Somehow we’ve been able to maintain a friendship. Not sure yet if that’s a good idea yet. I love him and doubt that I’m really capable of being the friend that watches him endure his heartbreak and disappointment in the dating realm. For me? I just need to heal. My anxiety has reached record levels. Panic attacks on the daily is not uncommon. So here goes the next chapter. Healing. Personal growth. Unconditional love.

    Hearing that something like this is possible, gives me so much hope. My fiancé and I broke up a few days ago after going back and forth, and ultimately I wanted to stay together but after all the pain she needs to be alone without me. She is moving out in a few days from our home, and I am in the lowest depths of my life everyday so far and am holding strong that I know we will be back together. We had such an incredible love and I know we both deep down want to be together. I’m fearful that within the next 60 days of no contact, she will get over me and move on, but I’m holding my hope high

    Thank you for sharing this on here. Do u do workshops in LA or is there an option to do something like this on zoom? After 13 years of marriage we broke up and have been separated for 4 years but have recently reconnected. We’ve both worked on our flaws and healing what happened in the past and our love feels as strong as we’ve ever felt, both of us showing up and wanting to learn from our mistakes and do it better this time. But I am concerned about future conflicts as this happens in all relationships so we’re definitely looking for more tools to help us on this new exciting chapter for us. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you!

    My ex girlfriend broke up with me during a 3,5 year teenager relationship. The moment she did, she was finaly growing up a bit in my eyes. Which made her more attractive. I was actually done with it after 2 years but she was so scared of losing me I hold on to love and stayed with her. Many fights where I tried to explain her how to prevent or how to approach talks to not make it escelate in a negative discussion. It never worked. She kept doing the same but our love was real. So I was kinda done with it but still stayed. Till a point where I said it doesn't work with the relationship label. So we did everything to stay with each other to unreasonable decisions. We literaly tried to let go of feelings and just be with each other. To a point where she wrote a list why not a have a future with me. (I never seen the list) we weren't together officialy but we were still together. She kissed someone else and that hurt me so much that I decided to make a switch. Instead of giving 50% imma give 100% again but it was already to late. We kept this going for a few months but during this time the smallest things brought us back to the moment she wrote that list. Which was very insecure for both. 1 day she was madly in love, the next day she was completely done with it. And this for like 5 months. Eventually I started to read about relationships and figured we needed time apart. So instead of talking and getting back to unstable but good ground for 1 day I took time apart. I think around 30 days she texted me she got someone else. And that hit me like a bullet that was stuck in my heart. I stopped giving a f about love or people. Thought love doesn't exist or is all fake, money buys love. So first I was mad at her and blamed her, eventually I realised we were both to young, we both weren't wrong, we missed experience and knowledge. Years later I texted her. Hey hope your doing well what about we meet up. She replied positive, but said she to busy with her job and boyfriend. But she did say it made her curious. So I replied OK I get it but if your curious it shouldn't let you stop you. I won't interrupt your life and I'm good anyway. 2 or 3 months later she texted me. Hey maybe we should meet up for a talk. I was hyped, you can't imagine. So we meet up and it felt like nothing changed. I mean the connection was still there. One of the things she mentioned was that she has been dreaming about me for 2 weeks. Not positive tho. I also dream about her a lot. Wasn't sure about saying that. She also said we can't be friends, cuz she sees that. I wasn't sure what to say on that. But we talked for like an hour and then she decided to leave. After that I didn't hear from her. Now I think she's out of that relationship and I wanna reach out again but I don't know what to say why we should meet up. There's a side that still wants to talk about our past relation ship and there'd a side that tells me to move on and keep it positive for the best chances atm. What should I say to her by reaching out and what to talk about if we meet up? We have been apart for years now but even after Al those years she realised we can't be friends. There is still something and I think we can have a great future together. It just wasn't the time and place back then. But it was real and special. Hope you got some advice. I can't wait to reach out but I don't wanna mess it up. Wanna say the right things to meet up agajn and the right things to move in a good direction. Last time I went to deep in my life. I just wanted to keep it casual and create normal contact again. But I didn't gave any hints I wanted to get back or why. She may still think I'm not rdy or potential future material. While I'm more rdy then ever, I see more future with her now then ever before.

    • @itsinyourhands9616
      @itsinyourhands9616 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I subscribed. I hope you got advice here.. I'm not a insecure guy but I know this is something complex. The one who helps me tru this is a life saver for me. Bcs if I know and feel like I took the right steps and said the right things and it still doesn't work, then I can let it go. But if I approach her and make stupid mistakes which will make her realise never to try it again I will never forgive myself. I want to build a future with her and become succes full together. But if its really over then I accept that. I just think it isn't. She had 2 relationships in the mean time, I also dated others and we both single now. This is the time
