This game is probably the most difficult of all Mario Games so far, at least that's my opinion. I played it when i was 10 or 11 years old and had problems clearing the levels from world 3 and further. The story and soundtrack were bad but the gameplay was fantastic imo. Different abilities of the babies, different colored Yoshis and not so easy to beat.
When I first played this, I had a hard time finding all of the red coins and flowers!!! But since I've been playing this game for 7 years, it's not as hard anymore!!!
Well only in Partners in Time. In Yoshis Island DS here they didn’t team up, they were enemies but Bowser was angry after seeing his younger self get beaten up. In Yoshis New Island Bowser only showed up at the right time in the Past where his younger self was fighting Yoshi so see a chance I guess to defeat Mario before he becomes the Hero and Arch Enemy he knows in the future. So in my opinion only Partners in Time counts as a team up.
What's with the Star Children plot for Bowser? He wants to obtain seven stars for power, but the game implies seven characters "inherit" the power..but Bowser never goes after any of them in later games for said power. Isn't he really going to this point in time for the stars more likely to do with the fact that this is the only viable period where he can obtain them as they've fallen from the sky? Is the ending supposed to imply who simply held the items that Bowser wanted the whole time?
Also you can't tell me they couldn't animate the storks taking all the babies back like they did when they delivered mario and luigi in yoshis island. Come on Nintendo
It still was a good game though. Maybe not as good as Yoshi Island GBA but gotta give it some credits especially using the different babies like Peach and DK
+[TLG] Grovyle Media™ and i think its messed up all the babies got sent to their parents but wario gets abandoned. he never gets delivered. smh explains why he's such a jerk
You need to go to play Yoshi's Island, I played it in my GBA SP as Super Mario Advance 3. Just because there are four colors in SMW, the game sucks??!!! This game is great!!!!

I think DS is the prequel to Yoshi's Story, as Baby Yoshi was born
Or the original Super Mario World because the baby Yoshi that hatched is the same Yoshi that made his debut in Super Mario World.

Ehh, this game wasn't still as good as the original Yoshi's Island. I mean the castle/fortress theme didn't really fit as well as the cave theme.
