- Max Verstappen and Lando Norris sign peace, but there is a caveat

The Austrian Grand Prix left a significant mark on the relationship between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. On lap 64, both drivers were involved in a collision that took them out of the fight for victory. Verstappen was penalized ten seconds and relegated to fifth place, while Norris had to abandon the race. However, according to Red Bull director Christian Horner, the two drivers have already signed peace, albeit with a warning about the Dutchman's driving style.
"I understand they've already spoken, so I don't think there's any problem. Mind you, on Max's side, he's not going to change," Horner said in an interview for Sky Sports at the Milton Keynes facility.
Horner also highlighted that Norris has found Verstappen's 'kryptonite', becoming a real rock in his shoe. "I think Lando is learning to compete with Max and is finding that out," commented Horner. "Inevitably, there will be closer racing between the two of them, as the cars look very evenly matched over the next few races. But Max is a tough racer, he's probably one of the toughest racers on the circuit and everyone knows that if you're going to race Max, he's going to give it his best shot."
McLaren director Andrea Stella criticized Verstappen for not receiving a harsher penalty, considering his history of intense rivalries, such as the one with Lewis Hamilton three seasons ago. However, Horner defended his driver, stating that Verstappen has raced incredibly hard and has been at the front for a long time without direct competition.
"The new rivalry between Verstappen and Norris has been building up over two, three or four races where they've been racing very closely and very hard, and at some point that was always going to boil over, and it did at Turn 3," Horner concluded.
Last weekend was pretty amateurish from Norris but I think he has the potential to better his racecraft. Verstappen's unsafe driving when he feels threatened and under-pressure will always limit his chances of success against drivers with great racecraft.
I always knew Norris would whimp out. Norris needs to decide if he wants to be best friends with Verstappen or World Champ. He can’t be both.
May I say that Max races in a style that could be called "Machiavellian?" He is at the top and he intends to stay there.

Norris Kamikaze dive to the corner is already a stupid move... he's definitely driving off the white line with his dive, which will deem him wrong.
Norris or any other drivers should never race Max at a corner, taking him out at the straight is the best..
