I delight in hearing you talk while I do my daily chores. It makes me feel like I’m not alone in my homemaking efforts. Thanks for inspiring so many of us!
New subscriber here from Scotland , I love how your videos are not ruined with loud music 🎶 so relaxing to listen to your soft gentle voice . Thank you for sharing all your recipes . ❤
I see your using Currier and Ives dishes. I love them. My husband and I were in an antique store before Christmas and I found some Currier and ives dishes that were made in 1955 by birth year. So my sweet husband bought them for me for Christmas. Using things from the past makes my heart very happy. Love and happiness from Missouri.
Hello Jenilee, I'm new to your channel and love watching your videos. Steph of Hopewell heights made a pink sourdough using beetroot powder, you can check it out if you like. She made it many times until she got the color she liked.
Also, don't bother with carrot powder for an orange loaf. The color didn't stay either. Take raw carrots and puree them & use that for an orange sourdough loaf. I tried to just grate the carrots & only came out with a slightly orange color. Puree them ❤❤❤
I have used purple sweet potatoe & green matcha powder for fabulous purple & green sourdough loafs. I tried the pink dragon fruit powder b4 too, with the same results. Boy, I did have my fingers crossed for you though. Love your channel ❤❤❤
@@jenilee.thepioneerhome I haven't tried that one yet, but it will be on my next grocery list!!! 🤣😂😉 I am absolutely obsessed with sourdough. You can use your starter as a rue, to thicken your soups & stews. Just mix it with some butter or fat of choice. It works fabulously & it's already fermented 🤗🤗🤗
If you have not tried Azure Standard, you really should. I buy from Thrive Market every once in a while. Actually just ordered 12 jars of Jovial tomatoes. But Azure has much better selection, better bulk items and best prices.
I just found your channel as a suggested video. I have watched about 4 now and must say I am enjoying them immensely. I appreciate the wholesome recipes. Sorry the Dragonfruit didn't turn out. Have you tried beet powder?
Your spaghetti sauce is similar to my Bolognese sauce! As an Italian, it’s a staple in my household. I always make it in a big batch, and freeze it in containers to serve later on, and it is always good! Your videos are very inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
I really enjoy your videos! I love to see what you’re going to be making for dinner. It helps to give me some ideas on what I can fix. Thank you for sharing !❤
When I did my own baby food, I used a regular blender (no need for special "baby" blender) in the beginning. I put the puree Ein a standard ice cube tray and froze it for a few hours. Once frozen, pop out the "food cubes" and put in a freezer bag. One cube is 1 oz.. This makes it easy to thaw out as much or as little as you wish. You can do a big batch at once this way with no worries about how many containers you have. As your child advances to thicker consistancies, you can do half thawed puree and half mashed or chunks. You can also add rice cereal to thicken the purees as well. You can freeze mashed bananas, avacodo, just about anything. If you are worried about freezer burn, double bag them. If you don't or can't use fresh cooked veggies or fruits, you can use regular store canned or bagged frozen veggies (you have cooked, of course) or frozen fruit you have mashed or purreed. Full size cans of veggies or fruit are much cheaper per serving than jarred baby food (especially organic), and it takes very little time to puree them yourself. It is even cheaper if you are using home canned food. Just a tip because you noted you had saved jars. This eliminates the need for jars, and bags of cubes are easy to flatten and stack so take up less freezer space.
Hey there! Really enjoying your videos! They’re so soothing! Thanks for sharing them! I’ve got a question for you. What is the song name and band name of the song you were using when you made the spaghetti and salad? It was lovely and sounded sort of medieval with a guitar (maybe?). Have a great weekend!

I hear that beet powder is a good natural food coloring.
I saw on Hopewell Heights she used beet powder..
I bet hibiscus powder does too!

I think the shape and scoring made the bread beautiful. Pink not needed.
I like the pink 🤷♀️
You’re amazing! Your meals are packed with love and all the best goodness for your family! Blessings for a grace filled weekend. ❤️

That ranch packet is so yummy! I mix it with mayo and kefir for salad dressing. Love your recipes and thank you for all your time.
Yes it is. I'll have to try it with mayo and kefir. Yum!
Naomi from Standish home bakes with different powders. Maybe check some of her videos to see if you find any tips. I enjoy your videos!

Your loaves of bread were beautiful!! ❤❤
Your bread was gorgeous. I was sad that it wasn’t pink though! You worked so hard on it. The pot pie looked so yummy!
I just ran across your channel. You are inspiring. Your farmhouse reminds me of my grandmother's. I learned to cook on a wood stove as a child.
So glad you are here. Make sure to watch my newest video and you will see alot more of my farmhouse! th-cam.com/video/mBt_BVYI3Zg/w-d-xo.html

Hello MO friend! Thank you!
My favorite place to get spices is from Amish bulk stores! I get everything I need and can trust the source! The prices are also great.

Can you list spices you used on pork loin. It all looks amazing

I think making pink bread is tricky, another youtuber I saw used beet powder but still it was just brown, looked more like wholewheat.
You have the most wonderful videos!! You put so much time and details and love into your cooking and your home and your family and it really shows!!
Thank you, Sarah! This really put a smile on my face.

It might just be me, but I have a hard time hearing you sometime. I love your soft voice, but maybe you can be a little louder. 🥰
I'm sorry Penny. I recorded the voice over late at night when my family was sleeping. That's why I was quiet. I will keep that in mind.🥰
@@jenilee.thepioneerhome maybe a microphone would help?
Penny…do you have your volume as high as it will go?
Sounds great
I didn't have any issues hearing her speak.
