Pro Circuit Shorty! Honda CR250 Rebuilt Two Stroke Engine & Restyle Kit

- Honda two stroke is rebuilt, time to test ride! This 2003 Honda CR250R dirt bike was in need of some TLC and refreshed new look. I went with Pro-X crank and rod. I could not find any OEM cranks around. The cylinder had to be sent off for plating and weld the crack. The cases were sandblasted, shock rebuilt, and powercoated the spring while waiting on the cylinder to come back. I installed all OEM parts for the top end. All new clutch plates and friction disk were added as well. The bike sounds crisp with Pro Circuit works pipe and Titanium shorty on VP C12 race fuel through the Lectron Carb. If i had the restyle kit we would have almost identical bikes except i dont have a head yet. I dig the blue fuel line too.
Sounds like you have a nice CR too RED RYDA. 💯 I did try to make it look like Chase Sexton's CRF is a few ways. I stole the blue fuel line idea from the HRC bikes too.
Yeah, I added the radiator overflow line blue to match the bigger hoses. I also changed the gas tank air line to red.

Cool Randy, I actually just picked up this bike from Merge Racing Wednesday. I need to make a less talk more action video soon.
Honestly once it got warmed up, the jetting sounded fine to me.
It was barely loading up. It was getting a little too much fuel. After the video I turned the power screw in 3/4 of a turn and helped clean it up.

@@TORKiT 54rwhp you can also shorten your expansion chamber buy skimming it down 3ml can polishing the weld out. Will also give you a bit of power I cut my FMF shorty even shorter as well
Also adding a spacer behind power value works well as well but not sure if that will work for the RC valve

The new gen CRF plastics look so much better than the previous gen restyles. on the CRs. I'm not 100% a fan of the restyle, I like the oem look more but your bike came out beautiful. Great video sir

Zander, it depends on what throttle jockey graphic kit do you want to purchase. Use the comment section explaining no F. In my latest video running the 2024 throttle jack graphics they included a drop-down box for TX race freestyle kit. Either way your bike will have an updated look, but I prefer the 2024 graphics now. 💨

Really cool build! Just curious, is there a reason why you went with the H-Series Lectron over the Billetron?
Only reason is the Billetron 38 was not available back in 2020 when I upgraded. The carburetor was the first step of this rebuild process.
I ordered the newest Billetron 38 Pro model yesterday and some other parts. New videos coming soon.
What kind of update or mod did you do to the carb boot to airbox mating area?
The H series carb is wider than the Pro 38. So after I updated to the Pro 38 I had to buy new OEM air boot and new OEM rubber intake. After that the Pro 38 fit great. The old rubber gets hard and stops flexing.
@@TORKiT I meant the area where the boot mates to the airbox. Did you install the new boot with sealer at the airbox, use a later model gasket, or use the kit from MXBonz, or something else?

Where’d you get graphic kits for the TX restyle?
These TXrace kits are the OEM plastic. So you can run any graphics for the 21-23 CRF450. I chose Throttle Jockey for the factory Honda race look.
Anyway you could give me link to the graphic kit? when i go to throttle junkie it jus says polisport restyle not tx. Thanks man nice bike
If you have the TXrace kit. You have the stock OEM 2023 CRF plastic. There is no restyle Kit to click on. Click this one.

How much sag are u running?
Close to 105mm. Last week I installed all new swingarm and linkage bearings. Also full rebuild on the front forks. Needs redone.
