This build turned out insane!!! You’ve done a crazy good job on it. 3 months is actually a crazy turnaround time for a build like this That HOA moment guy is “on your side” but the one complaining lol. He could’ve just minded his own business. Sounds like his Corvette is a garage queen to me lol.
I’m super late to this but really enjoyed binge watching the build series. I have a 2000 CR250 that’s in pretty good shape. I’m definitely motivated to invest in some major upgrades though regarding the suspension and chassis and while it’s apart, I’m gonna take some time cleaning everything up the best I can. I really wish I could afford to do everything you did to this bike. Replacing the wheels, rebuilding and tuning the suspension, and rebuilding/replacing the brakes and clutch is gonna put me around $4k but it’ll be worth it. The 2000/2001 CR’s are known for having great engines but notoriously bad handling. Upgrading to the offset triple clamps, 250f swingarm, & completely overhauling the suspension and brakes should help a ton.

I did the same restyle kit on my 2007 cr250. I have works connection radiator braces and they really help to bring the radiator into the correct position and eliminate the gap. Awesome build!
The white grips look insane with everything else wish I could win it the only thing is the seat cover is a little off color but it’s still looks amazing

I'd try some radiator braces to get the gap out. The only other thing it could be is the seat frame is bent down just a little bit. Either way nice bike
Been watching u for a few months now love ur work thought I'd let u know when ur doing ur plastic and if ur airbox is a little scratched up I know the sticker covers most but u can flame gun all the plastic and they will come up brand new if u never seen it before thought I'd ask as I seen ur attention to detail is spot on and that's what I like about watching u on utube done right the first time and it shows in the end product
Nice, but when installing grips, you need to put the glue inside the grip ! Use an old toothbrush and dip it in a puddle of grip glue and go inside the grip all the way in, and spin the brush all the way around the grip inside. Dip it again and put a light thin coat on the bar. Make a sliver cut at the end of the grip to let air escape as you slide the grip on. Position it, wait a few minutes and wire it in 3 spots. It will never ever move until they wear out, guaranteed ! 😊
I have no issues with grips ever moving using this method! And I don't like to put it in the grip on the throttle tube side because it can make the tube stick.
@@KincadePavich if you put glue only on the bars, when you slid the grip on, most of the glue gets wiped away up the bar to the end at the opening. Never had a throttle tube stick. Go in 3/4 of the way on throttle side.
I do 3 full heat cycles while giving small revs as it warms up. Let it warm up completely and then cool down completely. Check spark plug and verify jetting. Then go easy on it for the first 15-20 mins riding.
Was running in my New YZ400 years back took it in my works van that was sign written and my bike van was in the shop getting a new cam belt and some one reported me to my company boss near cost me my job.
I spray a super small amount of contact or brake cleaner on the bar. If you use too much, it will eat the grip. Slide them on, then it will evaporate under the grip and the glue will set. Takes a couple hours sometimes but will always work!

The gap is fine, because it’s not that noticeable when you have the rest of the bike to look at.

That pro taper grip glue hardens in 5 seconds, when my grips are on halfway. How the hell do you slide them on like that?
