Is it good to negotiate salary before they send offer letter and Hr is negoitate salary in phone. Is it good to negotiate and expose our expectation or employer have to provide range first?
Is it fair to ask what the approved salary range is after you’ve already received an offer? I had a conversation with a hiring manager from a company. It was more conversation and less interview. We never talked about possible positions so I never asked about salary range, etc. I received an offer a couple days later. So there is an offered salary but I have no clue what they’re approved range is. Thank you!
Is it too late to negotiate details when they have sent contract with 5 days deadline on it. Before that we just discussed salary of X$ per year. After reading the contract there is no mention of bonus, payrise, overtime,. There is also a generic term like you may work extra hours but wont be compensated as this isincluded in your salary. Minor issue for me bt some employers take advantage if this. Just looking for advice in this area. Tks there is no mention of bonus salary review parking allowance Is it worth asking for these in the contract offer stage of negotiations or is it too late.

Hi, i was working with a company, who asked me to go as my role was not justifiable to them and my last working month was Sep 22 i interviewed in X company which i wanted to join for first round in mid sep & second round in 1st week of oct. & waited for 2 weeks, meanwhile, i got an offer from Y company, since there was no feedback from X company for 2 weeks, i accepted Y company offer & joined & after joining Y Company i got a call on next day from X company for final round, in final round, i mentioned i joined Y Company but want to join your company & i felt interviewer got upset & still awaiting for their feedback as the post for which in interviewed for is still vacant, please advice what should i do ? as i want to join X company, as in Y company the job role is completely different than what i have been told & shared over the e-mail.
I have an offer with me right now, your MAN, Negotiation, Dodge Numbers/Range, etc. all tips helped me to get it. They offered me below average but I kept the fear aside and asked for more, then kept my nerve for 11 days to hear from them, silence from both ends... And then they called me and offered me around the MAN, less then MAN actually but almost around my actual number. I'm happy that I asked, otherwise I would have definitely missed it. Also, I said them I don't wanna accept until the compensation is clear, otherwise it would be undesirable and bad to negotiate after accepting the offer. POWER to you... One bad thing, they first asked me to show some proof to back my asking numbers! That was lame, how can I bring proof, who shares their compensation breakup, gave them some insights from Google, but they were not that great... 😕 It is my first switch. Thanks for the meaningful videos... ✌🏻
I have the two offer situation. The second offer i got only a week before joining. I reached out to first one and tried to have them match the second offer because I genuinely want to join the first one. Not ideal. I know. But it happened even if I didn’t intend. The first company said they will not be able to accommodate this request. I am ok if they keep the same offer. I feel bad bringing this up to first company and it feels now kinda of a sour experience. Should I still join the first one after this conversations or just skip to second because i may have ruined the onboarding experience with first one and might have consequences later down the line?
Power! Thank you. I have been offered a certain CTC package but I want more. How do I go about demanding what I want, I need about 20% more than the offer to meet my requirements (and the current offer is on par with the market).
If you are the absolute best and are able to effectively negotiate, highlighting your skills and how you can be a great ROI for them, it might work. However if it is at par with market for the role and company you have been selected for, it might not be possible.
Hi Sonal, I am going thru an interview process and they already asked my last salary and somehow I could not avoid and I told the truth ( I started watching your videos after that interview so didn’t know the trick then) And unfortunately I was highly underpaid.. what would you suggest in this case?
I got a job offer and the hr said they will give me 30% raise but when the salary structure was shared, it showed i am getting only 7% raise on my previous salary and my take home salary is same as previous... I want to negotiate further but don't want to lose the job...what should I do...?

Cleared 2 rounds , HR asked me current and expected, so I gave a range, that is 50 to 60 % hike on current, now waiting for his call. I went through his linkedin profile, we both completed graduation in same year, he has 2 years less work experience, but still he is working on Sr. manager HR role while I was interviewed for Manager role, still he thinks that I am asking too much salary.
