Is it good to negotiate salary before they send offer letter and Hr is negoitate salary in phone. Is it good to negotiate and expose our expectation or employer have to provide range first?
Is it fair to ask what the approved salary range is after you’ve already received an offer? I had a conversation with a hiring manager from a company. It was more conversation and less interview. We never talked about possible positions so I never asked about salary range, etc. I received an offer a couple days later. So there is an offered salary but I have no clue what they’re approved range is. Thank you!
Is it too late to negotiate details when they have sent contract with 5 days deadline on it. Before that we just discussed salary of X$ per year. After reading the contract there is no mention of bonus, payrise, overtime,. There is also a generic term like you may work extra hours but wont be compensated as this isincluded in your salary. Minor issue for me bt some employers take advantage if this. Just looking for advice in this area. Tks there is no mention of bonus salary review parking allowance Is it worth asking for these in the contract offer stage of negotiations or is it too late.

If you are the absolute best and are able to effectively negotiate, highlighting your skills and how you can be a great ROI for them, it might work. However if it is at par with market for the role and company you have been selected for, it might not be possible.
Hi sonal, after attending all my rounds, hr asked me for my expected salary and i have given a range of 7 to 7.8 , as you said hr heard the initial number and asked me back 7 and i said yes, but i feel , its not the correct pay for me. Could you please suggest how to handle it, to coatup to my actually expected salary. Can i say i required so and soo Your suggestion will be more helpfull.
I have the two offer situation. The second offer i got only a week before joining. I reached out to first one and tried to have them match the second offer because I genuinely want to join the first one. Not ideal. I know. But it happened even if I didn’t intend. The first company said they will not be able to accommodate this request. I am ok if they keep the same offer. I feel bad bringing this up to first company and it feels now kinda of a sour experience. Should I still join the first one after this conversations or just skip to second because i may have ruined the onboarding experience with first one and might have consequences later down the line?
I got a job offer and the hr said they will give me 30% raise but when the salary structure was shared, it showed i am getting only 7% raise on my previous salary and my take home salary is same as previous... I want to negotiate further but don't want to lose the job...what should I do...?
