2018 December - Tower Middle Floor - Knocking through from House into Tower Middle Floor

Tower middle floor / House side (Before, during and now nearly finished!)
This is just one half/side of the middle of the tower (The central stone walls divides it into 2 equal sides).
Kate and I needed to integrate the upstairs of the connected 3 bed house to the middle floor of the tower but did not have an existing access.
The main house attached has 3 bedrooms but no upstairs bathroom, however someone had recessed an access into the towers walls many years ago - sadly destroying an ancient arrow arch in the process -
this now represented the best way to install a master bathroom within the tower that the other bedrooms had access to.
Thankfully I managed to plot out the recess from the house side through to the tower side and just remove the rubble without causing any further damage to the arrow arch.
Within this video, you'll see one end being closed up for the bathroom (A video I will upload in a couple of weeks)
We call this our central hall, it will have an oak staircase leading to our master bedroom above - however this area will have a lounge feel with a sofa etc as well.
The metal frame in the shot is where our entrance door will go for the upstairs master bedroom
We still need to get a new staircase built (A job I am looking forward to in 2021) as well as some proper flooring - hopefully all finished within the next few months.
