bro please breakdown your beats from the Curtis battle, i commented this on the first version of this video but they're too fire not to acknowledge again
Wassup Leotus. Super dope setup brother, big fan! I also own a S49 MKII and I wanted to let you know that if you have FL 20.7.2, you can use the transport controls to navigate FL and the mixer button works as well.
Oh Gosh Leotus No problem man, but more than just updating because Image Line included midi scripting on 20.7.2. You just have to put a script and Voila. Here is the forum for setup and installation if you want to read about it and installation. forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php?f=1994&t=233461
This studio setup is fire🔥🔥 I noticed you only have one pair of headphones hung up at the recording booth...do you ever mix in headphone or you strictly use that to record
3:52 Nothing extra about that bro you not the only one lol 😆 I’m the same way I have a specific them if it doesn’t match my them or colors I find one that does It makes everything look much better I see so many studios that look sloppy no them colors everywhere not making sense Yukk
Not really! I know its ideal to have 2 different sets but I just like the clarity of the yamahas. I was missing lowend and getting a sub in my apartment would have my neighbors mad. lol. so getting the 7hs provided that for me
@@ohgoshleotus6584 yeah but the bass on the yammies suck lol n I don’t mean it as disrespect cause I liked the video n you seem like a cool guy just struck me as weird. I mean if you got the bigger yammies cause you needed more bass than what’s the point of the smaller ones? Shouldn’t be mixing at high volumes anyways so it’s not like you should be afraid of you walls shaking and your neighbors complaining. It’s your studio so as long as your happy it doesn’t really matter it’s just my first thought would of been to sell the smaller 1’s and get maybe some mix cubes or small genelecs or something.
@@michaelrice6620 I agree to an extent! Obviously another brand for the studio monitors makes sense as far as referencing goes. Just for my particular setup, it just made sense. Whenever I get another setup that's not at home, then i'll be looking at another pair. Yamaha lowend sounds great to me compared to other brands within its price range. I feel like its more accurate and translates well anywhere else. But then again, you also need to train your ear to like whatever speakers you have in your studio! Whether it's speakers with a flat response, colorful speakers, etc, it's something that you get use to. Just need to reference other mixes.
@@ohgoshleotus6584 yeah true learning new monitors does take time and can suck. I just always learned that the point of multiple monitors was to get what 1 monitor lacked in the other excelled in so that if it sounds good on both you know you got a solid mix. But monitors can get expensive and if your looking at that range there isn’t many to choose from. I personally probably would of got some Kali audio monitors for that range just because the bass response and the sound width of the speaker, while the yammies are great on the in your face mid and high range. But anyways nice studio bro it looks good I probably should of led the convo with that lol

I mix on my HS5s mainly. but if I'm feeling weird about a mix (which is rare) I'll go to the headphones

What beats are playing in the background?
Unreleased beats!
Wassup Oh Gosh!!!!✌
Great video but you didn't mention the chair you sit in to produce.
Its a Gamer Chair from Amazon! Super good price too. look up " S Racer Gamer Chair"
Bruh, you forgot to mention your headphones, which brings me to my question which ones would you recommend?
I'm not a headphones guy. Haven't got to experiment with different sets yet but will forsure in the future!
Why would you have 2 of the same monitor? Beats the purpose of a 2nd reference doesn’t it?
