Sports cars OLD & NEW at Oulton Park Circuit! Javelin Trackdays in the wet

A recent Javelin Trackdays event at a rainswept Oulton Park Circuit offered a great variety of sports cars and racing cars old & new attacking the Cheshire based racetrack.
After a quick look around the paddock littered with various sporting and racing cars parked up, we took to the track starting off with a great view from the pit wall, and filmed the plethora of cars howling past at one of the fastest points on the circuit.
We then headed to Lodge corner, with provided much sideways entertainment due to the treacherous conditions.
Various tuned and sporting cars attended, including a great MG Midget, Holden Monaro, Lotus-swapped Toyota MR2 and a selection of E36, E46, E92 and more BMW cars.

Quite a treat to see an "import"...the Monaro...with a nice V8 rumble making its way (carefully) around the track. It was a good day for drivers to learn their wet track skills.

Great video Harley with some terrifically throaty sounds. I always rated the Puma although Fords have never been my thing.

Harley I was proud to see I was the 2nd Like of this excellent video of powerful motors at Oulton Park, one of my favourite tracks arond which I have been taken my some top drivers, and myself! Well done! Don't ever lose you enthusiasm or stop your videos!

Great to see a Holden Monaro racing. A car from down under. The poor guy in the green MG Convertible would have been getting all wet and cold. Is car racing something you might like to get into ?. Dad your elderly assistant was there with you. He calls you his youthful assistant. No crashes Harley , although there was alot of slipping and sliding in the wet. Thanks from Carl.

Great sounds on a world famous track. I liked the green Austin Healey you liked.Looked like British Racing Green.Really nice condition. It would be fun on the track or just on Britain's country roads. It's almost always the lower priced basic cars that have made the biggest impact on motoring and made the most good memories. Looking forward to your next video.
By the way the weather is no better here in Nova Scotia. Haven't had ten sunny days in the last three months.
