We do have a NEW PATCH that changes a few things I mentioned in the video. Also, this run here proves how absolute crap the trapper affix was. Anguish has had its mod scaled properly (I saw no major improvement in the gun yet). Deathwish is not negated by the kinship trait anymore (Really hard to use it now). Trapper is now not on every boss like it was (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Also we were having some major lag and memory leak issues towards the end of the run. The patch did mostly fix this as well. Loadouts had something to do with it as they now shouldn't crash your game if you switch too often. Overall this was just a fun and goofy challenge run I messed with, and it turned into a run with every boss haveing hearty, or trapper. Which was just the most insane experience and not in a good way 😅. Oh and I was almost right. You need to take the Huntres down to 1/3 health for her to stop running away. Still learning things after all this time I guess lol.
Considering the amount of effort needed to get this weapon, even after the patch has no right to be this bad when the starter secondaries are far better.
Even after patch this guns still pretty sad. The gun had so much potential. It legitimately feels fun to use and switch between but that's the best I have to say right now. 😢
I think its a neat idea to have different firing modes. But also that makes it a little tougher to build into. Also the mod just isn't efficient enough. Even with high crit it is useless when enemies get close to you.

Tbh this took me like a hour to get in my own world alone it really isn't that hard the hardest part is just getting the mansion to spawn but if u have your one-shot it'd easy savior is by far the hardest to get needing to complete the entire game in hard-core is far harder
You legitimately got lucky and had the stars align for you. The problem with this quest is actually setting it up and making it to each area that the Dran appears it WITHOUT dying otherwise the quest resets and then you’d have to find the ethereal manner all over again not to mention you have to have very specific campaigns in all 3 ( Im unlucky when it comes to rerolling adventures) I rerolled adventure mode Yaesha 20 times before finally getting the red queens court lmao
@@acecun6202 bruh just use your main campaign to get most of the areas run through them before going to mansion then get the mansion and reroll the adventure to red court and at that point its just fast traveling and abit of running not danger at all if you use abit of strategy

personally i run this with gunslinger to improve the fire rate/reload/extra ammo, with momentum as the mutator since every projectile always registers individually unlike other shotguns, and archers crest instead of akari to make the projectile speed more usable as well as making the charge shot better and zanias instead of alchemy stone, with hunter skill active its exactly 100% crit chance, i like to run arbalest as primary to deal with any ads either in dungeons or bosses, and also handling for much better recoil/spread reduction, oh also RUN BULLETSTORM, it makes the default and charged fire feel incredible
I did a explosion mod build where I pretty much replaced Star Shot with Anguish. It's not bad, but it ain't great either. I use Sparkshot with Tremor to clear groups, and for bosses I switch in Alpha/Omega. It works...but isn't as strong as this build can be.
Today's the day I go for Anguish finally. 😊 Definitely don't plan to use it anytime soon but once it's fully leveled up and they fix it I will pull it out and have some fun. One question I do have is why does everything new they add have to suck or be broken for about a month before they fix it and make it worth using? Shouldn't that be one of the top priorities when putting out new content? I don't mind the fact the game is always changing and certian builds become broken after each new bug fix because it's fun to go around and one shot things for example like right now with the Krell Axe being broken. That said when adding new guns, archetypes, mods, ECT shouldn't they be working properly and be ready to be used day 1? I'd definitely recommend the team focus more on making sure the items they add are working properly in the future. If they break them by accident later when fixing other bugs fine but the 1st month or two new content should he working as intended I should think. I'm not judging the team I know working on a game this size with a small team isn't easy and I appreciate all the work they do but I would say they should probably try and focus a little bit more on making sure new content works as intended day 1 going forward so we can enjoy the new content they've added. ❤
Honestly one of the more coherent and honest comments I have seen. So I actually agree you here. On the one hand its not a big deal because it eventually gets fixed and usually the broken stuff is fun to become OP with. And as someone who is not a video game dev and knows little about the process, I imagine it is a nightmare to balance the thousands of mechanics in Remnant 2 alone. BUT at the same time this game has had issues with every single new update they introduce. I unfortunanlty do not have a good solution to this other than rigorous playtesting that would extend updates by weeks if not longer. Just food for thought I guess.
So with the huntress I don't think her running off is a bug, it is her alt kill. Me and my buddy had her run off the first time we fought her. Probably because we didn't do enough damage. However when she ran we chased her. We found her resting in some graveyard looking area. We killed her there and got her spear as a melee weapon!
Apparently there is a mechanic where you need to get her to 1/3 of her health bar in order for her to rest. Sometimes this isn't the case though and at half health she goes and rests. I think I just wasn't able to do enough damage here lol.
I tried detonation trigger with the anguish mod and made a mod loop builds with nightfall. Sorta viable, I recommend trying it out. Use miasma and malevolence to get your mods back faster.
The gun is called Anguish. You ever think it's meant to suck? Like it's supposed to be a challenge weapon/item? Like The Admirals Ring or The Calamity Ring? Of the ladle from Dark Souls 2?
after getting sunken witch with trapper, i'm now ok with running an unkillable build. it's stupid that you need that kind of build to even have a chance because the game decided it doesn't like you.
That is the labyrinth skip. You can head to the door that leads to leto mark 2 and enter the boss arena without doing any of the labyrinth. It just saves a lot of time by not needing to do the mob fight there.

What's funny is that Anguish isn't even a bad gun, it's just bugged. It's not dealing the full +300% damage it's supposed to do at +20/+10
Watching that damage just makes me sad hopefully they buff it as soon as possible

I think the game has random one shot protection, that is probably why you didn't died in the false king fight.
