Marches played are: 0:04 - Heather Grant of Strathyre/Battle of The Somme/Heights of Dargai 3:08 - Balmoral/Green Hills of Tyrol/Castle Dangerous 8:01 - Scotland the Brave/Black Bear
A good solid sound produced by these lads and lasses. Featuring many of the tunes that they will play in the show. The drums and in particular the the Tenors in really come into their own here and sound great in unison.
The youth of today eh! What will they get up to next? Indeed they are a credit to their service unit, their communities, their families and to their own diligence and hard work.
What a great sounding band. I am sure that this might get edited, but it should not be when you read the full version. Why is there a 40+ old drum major taking control of a cadet band and not the youth leader. I watched the Sea Cadet Trafalgar day parade recently, and they had 3 drum majors, all cadets and all working in unison. A true reflection of the encouragement of youth leadership. What a failure on behalf of the army cadets principle to encourage the development of youth leadership. This man should be sent to training on what it means to encourage the youth to lead. Sadly, it is not unique just to this band.
I agree was in cadets our staff said the experiences should be for the cadets imagine a teenager leading that band through London wouldn't ever forget it

They march at a slower pace than the regulars, more like a civilian pipe band pace.
