This is not a box that you can just set and walk away. It still needs daily attention, cleaning up little things that get stuck and making sure the lid doesn’t get impeded so it can close properly. Other than that, what makes it so nice. Is that if you have multiple cats it keeps it clean enough for them that you can go to work without worry that they’ll crap on your rug. It’s not a once a week cat box, and it shouldn’t be treated that way.
I’ve had these before but it seems that they are now made defective. I purchased mine in June & it is no longer working properly. The rake doesn’t go all the way up and it keeps trying to scoop several times before it goes back & the flashing red light comes on & stops working. Also putting in the rake is difficult requiring a lot of effort.
For the price, would you say it was worth it? Really thinking about getting one since my cat is basically a pee and poop factory. Cleaning his pans with a scoop are a nightmare because how much he goes. Debating if it's worth it for one of these...
It's worked out well for me. My cat is indoor/outdoor so she goes outdoor some too in addition to using the litter pan at night and when we are gone during the day. The pan is a bit small but she still uses it. I dont notice the smell either like I did with a regular litter pan. I rarely have to do anything with the litter pan anymore besides dump the bin every 2-3 weeks. That's just my experience with it. Some people have complained about it. But my experience has been nothing but positive. And I'm not sponsored and trying the sell the product or anything.
No absolutely don’t waste your money it didn’t pickup anything!!!! I had to physically scrape the poop and pee clumps so it could pick up just the pee clump and leave all the poop in the litter!! So I gave it almost a month but I was still manually cleaning the litter box 2 times a day. Because the machine wasn’t pick up anything even when I put alt of cat litter or even average amount!! So not worth the price.
I don't recommend this litter box. Mine lasted 6 months. The motor is made cheap. The plastic parts inside break easy. Bought mine New from eBay and warranted for one year, But to get the warranty you have to go back through eBay... No Stars in my rating. Buy something else!
@@judyandfriends123 It's been working good for me for several months. It's not perfect it will sometimes miss a turd. But WAY better than having to scoop all the time. Also the smell of the litter box is greatly reduced.

In my experience I rarely have to touch it. Probably empty the bag once every two to three weeks. I have only one cat that also goes outside.
😂😂😂that's every budget litter boxes...durrrr 😂😂😂
Also a better litter and filling it all the way to the line is extremely helpful I’ve found already ❤
The better litter causes the stuff not to get yucky too! Try the natural grass litter.
Smart Cats brand on amazon
Thank you so much for reviewing this litter box. 🎉 I’m convinced that I should buy this for my cat now.
It's not perfect and misses stuff. However it has reduced the amount of scooping I've had to do.
This was really helpful in setting mine up so thank you so much!!
I'm wondering if you didn't add enough litter
You aren't supposed to put a lot in there because it wears the motor to have to push through a large amount of litter.

I was thinking of buying one of these, but your video has showed me that it's a waste of money. It misses far too much.
Glad the video was helpful for you
It look like it need more cat litter
I wish you would have shown us how to empty the bag without making a mess.
Can I use part of this video in my own litterbox review video? Thank you in advance!
Sure just give me a credit somewhere 🙏
Can use more litter with the lightweight stuff. Way better results for me.
Good suggestion thanks
New Smart Scoop user here trying to find out why my green light is still flashing 15 minutes after first cleaning has taken place??
