I said if you filmed it, I'd watch it. I loved it! I especially loved the idea of doing the mug rugs in conjunction with the table runner. Thank you for a simple, easy to understand instructions. I can tell you were a teacher in your other life!
Thank you for your kindness in sharing your talent with us. The free tutorial is awesome ! Know what I’ll be doing in the am. Looking forward to this weeks podcast. Thanks!
Thank you Sherri. We have an oval table and it’s just hubby and I so I rarely use the extra leaf. Translated means, I have been too lazy to make a table cloth just for us. Lol, didn’t want to do the work to figure out how to make the right oval size. The second I saw the Christmas one I knew this would be perfect AND an easy way to dress up the table. I love the color balance of the Christmas one. You went a tad bit darker with the center and added two lights to the two sides. That balance would be perfect for our smaller table as the heavier balance is in the center. Tomorrow I’m taking a break from my quilts for Christmas gifting and make an autumn version. Thank you for taking the time to make this video to help those of quilters ‘out here’. I appreciate it. And I loved seeing your face lift up at the end as you were sharing with us. From Maine.
Thanks for this tutorial, as we won’t be seeing family over Christmas for a big dinner I thought I would do table runners for everyone. That way we can “be at the dinner” sort of lol.
Ooooo... I am excited now! My new sewing room is almost set up, so I'll be getting to do some sewing soon. And I know what's going to happen first. Quick and easy table runners with coasters. I think I'll put insul brite in the coasters to protect wood tables. Can't wait to get started. Thank you for this tutorial. Very well done as always.
I am still a beginner in quilting and I love this tutorial it is easy to follow and love the tips. I am going to do a runner for my friend for the fall season with matching mug rug.
Thank you Sherri! I love your calm easy approach to all your projects. I will be starting a table runner this weekend. You and Chelsi are delightful and I look forward to all your videos and always checking the blog.
Appreciate the video. I find that I must be a visual person! Seeing it done makes a huge difference for me. I have some fabric in mind to get started, and like another commenter, family members will be getting table runners.😁
Awesome tutorial and I am going to make a Christmas runner today for my coffee table. Love the coasters to match and I am so excited to start this right now.
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! Such a beautiful project and quick too. I know I will be making this for family and friends for Christmas this year!
I am a beginner and really hoped we were going to see it brought to the sewing machine as that's where I need help the worst lol is the bringing it together however I loved how you walked us through it was thorough and I got all my pieces perfect cut! :) so I thank you and you are a great teacher but can you show us to the machine hehe 😉
Hi Sherri, love this simple table runner video ! I was trying to down load the PDF, but it’s no longer there ! How can I get this ? I’m a beginner & this would be a great first project for me to do ! HELP PLEASE ! Thanks so much ! 😊
Love the simplicity of this runner. It's both quick and very pretty. One question, though. It looks like it can be made by quilt-as-you-go. In your opinion, would that work for this project?
I love that quilt rack on your left in the back. Is that available anywhere for purchase? I would love to have one just like it if there is. Please let me know if possible. Thanks so much in advance.
The pdf instructions are different then what you tell us on the video. PDF says to cut the 2 1/2 inch strips to 12 inches long. You say 10 1/2 inches long in the video. Please clarify. Thank you
Hi, I was wondering can you do the same pattern with only five different fabrics? I have a jelly roll but it only has five different fabrics so could I use just five in each of the blocks even though it would be the same five? Or would that be too boring?
I say go for it! If you don’t care for it once the blocks are complete; you can cut up or repurpose those three blocks. Make sense?!?!! What your thoughts?! ❤️😀
Im going to make this using my grandmothers aprons. ❤

Thanks for talking about a quilting choice. Very important when you are trying to do it all yourself. I find it the hardest decision.
Thank you for your kindness in sharing your talent with us. The free tutorial is awesome ! Know what I’ll be doing in the am. Looking forward to this weeks podcast. Thanks!
A sweet addition to any room, thanks. And love your calm, artistic manner.
I appreciated your thought process in laying out the strips.

Love this project! Thanks!
I love this but I can’t find the PDF on your blog
I would quilt as you go with quilt sandwich already prepared. Trim and then add binding
Thank you! Darling table runner 💖🧵

Thank you for the video! You may have said this, but what do you prefer to use for the batting in table runners?

How big would you make placemats with this pattern? Thank you so much!
The PDF link is broken. You said to cut the fabric into 2.5" strips. How long should they be?
Thank you

What is the length of the stripes
Just made this one. I did 4 sets and a border. Could it be quilt as you go?
did you put in batting ?
I was watching this to do the runner, but you tell us the width of the strip, but now how long the strip should be
Where do I find the pdf for this pattern
the printed instructions say to cut your strips 2 1/2 by 12 inches and you say on the video to cut them 2 1/2 by 10 1/12 inches. which one is it?
Can you have a tutorial how to make a round runner please
