I've never seen this method for joining the binding on the quilt at the end! Look so much easier t4han what I've struggle with repeatedly! I will try this out. Thank you!
Love this runner Beth! So pretty! I can see using different colors for different seasons, holidays, themes, etc. to make a quick, easy runner. Thanks for the idea and instructions!
Beautiful table runner, I wouldn’t have thought to put the blues with rusty reds, but they look so good together. Great job, have the braided look also. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
My sister made me One for Christmas using your video. Since then I’ve made 2 more. I love how you put the binding on, it really is simple. Thank you for making these projects simple and unhurried.
This method is absolutely genius! I love how you can tailor the size of the design. Never been ready to commit to a big quilt, but as a table runner you can make a beautiful fabric design! Thank you for sharing this tutorial!
Thank you!! Love your approach to making what would appear to be complicated but we, as quilters, understand. It is astonishing how complex different fabric cuts can create so many amazing designs like this and HSTs. Great tutorial! 😊
Hello! I hope you had a super Saturday! I had a great day in my sewing room and now have the chance to watch your video! I hope you have a cheerful week ahead! Thank you for posting and your expertise!
Love the finished chevron table runner; so pretty!! Hats off to hand-stitching the border. I don’t have patience for that, but you do a perfect job. Your work is always creative and beautiful; thanks Beth for these videos. ❤
So pretty and doesn't look too difficult for a novice like me. I'm going to try the pot holders first before I tackle this one. Thanks for sharing your talents🙂
Beth, As usual another wonderful, easy to do project. Thank you. I’m thinking it would make a beautiful Christmas runner, using fabric I already have! You make it seem so stress free!
Love this tutorial of quilt as you go. I learn something new about quilting from each of your videos. This table runner turned out very beautiful. Love your binding method, cant wait to make this runner. The colors you chose are some of my favories. Will share your video with my 15 year old granddaughter who wants to learn. Thank you Beth.
Good Afternoon Beth, Wow, I absolutely Love those colors together! It makes me want to go sew right now, I just wish I had that particular blue in my stash. Thank you for sharing this beautiful table runner, those colors just cheer me up even though I already feel cheery. ☺️ Have a wonderful weekend, 🥰 Chris
That is a beautiful table runner. I like your technique for the binding and how you joined it. I guess we don’t really need double fold binding for placemats or runners as in a quilt. Thank you 😊
Thank you again Beth, I had watched this some time ago but sat down and made one this weekend and it turned out beautifully following all your steps. Your videos are so great and making along with them gives me such a feeling of success!
That's a real nice table runner and I really liked it and I'm going to try it it looked neat I really enjoyed your table runner I can't even talk thank you Dorothy
Thank you Beth for sharing this with us. My granddaughter has requested that I make a table runner for every season/holidays for her new dining table. This looks like a great start for me. Your instructions are always so easy to follow, and I really appreciate that! Thank you again!
Hi Beth, I started one but only cut 24" long by mistake. It's okay b/c I found a table it is perfect for. I watched your video twice. I didn't have long strips I e Jelly roll so it wasn't a continuous piece. I just cut starting at like 7", then 9, etc. I'll probably have waste. Thanks You for your time and passion in every project. You & Debbie Shore have such soothing voices & don't get rattled. LOL😋
Omgosh, Beth. Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning and this was the first thing I saw on my phone. I was screaming with excitement. Hubby thought Id gone mad when I dived out of bed to find my computer to watch it on 'big screen'. Its cold here in Australia at the moment so I dont normally get out of bed until I have my warm cup of tea! You absolutely made my day. Im still smiling now. This is absolutely gorgeous. Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous. The colours are simply beautiful. You have such a knack of picking colours and also making everything look easy. Being new to sewing, I dont have many scraps, but I'll be searching for more fabric now to try and make this. Ive never hand stitched in my life, but Im going to give it a go. Did you do a straight stitch or something else on the back? Thank you Beth, I fell very honoured that you did this and amazed that you did it so fast. You are a GUN, woman. It'll take me a year, but Im excited now. Have a great Sunday gorgeous lady xx
It was a fun little challenge for me! Thank you for asking🙂 you won’t have to stitch on the back if you add the backing before adding your strips to the front. It’s a quilt as you go type project👌
@@bethshibleyquilts You mean like the pot holder? If I added the backing the same way as that? Gee, how did you work out there was another way to do it? You are so amazing. Thanks you so much, Beth. Im so excited about this. Hubby wants to take me out for lunch. Why today?!!! I just want to stay home and start cutting some of my fabric up and then go shopping for more xxx
Thank you, this is very clever. I have been wanting to make an extra covering for my French doors to keep out the extreme heat and this might work for making individual panels so people could still use the door by sliding a panel when entering.
Oh Beth I just love this Runner! It looks so lovely on your outside table with the turquoise and rust, Here in the Texas Panhandle we use a lot of Southwest theams and it would fit right in. Thank you so much
Another great video, Beth...what a great idea. I have a friend with an upcoming birthday and a very long table...I hope I can do your tutorial justice...Thank you for sharing your talents with us...
Its just beautiful. I absolutely am going to try to make this. I say try, because I'm just learning to sew by watching you tube videos. You are the best I have found on here!
Like you, Im also new to sewing and quilting and just using You Tube videos to do it. Im learning so much from Beth. I agree, she is the best on here. I love watching her. She keeps me calm when I get flustered. Wish she lived around the corner from me. How great it would be to learn from her in person. Good luck with your sewing x
