Hey there are you sensational subs how are you all today? In today's video I melt down what I was told is some sort of a pump and I'm not exactly sure what it is, if you know let me know. 3 melts in this video and some awesome pieces to add to the stack. Another long one today but next week I'm hoping to do a shorter one but I always say that and it never happens. Anyway have an awesome weekend enjoy the video and I'll hopefully see you all next Friday😆👋🏻

For anyone curious, a fire ban basically means that, everything is too dry (aka lack of humidity.) and the risk of a fire going wild is quite high. Meaning that a fire ban is usually put in place to prevent people from accidentally causing large scale fires that get out of their control. Not everywhere experiences this kind of thing, which has to deal with the humidity factor. Anywhere close to like water, will always have enough humidity to keep fires within control for the most part (aka harder to start.) Also it's often issued during warmer weather too. Meaning if it's like, a fairly toasty summer day with no humidity whatsoever, like that of a desert... Then yeah, no fires if there is any form of dry brush around.
Doesn't entirely mean you can't go starting a fire. Just means, be extremely careful with the fire, and try to keep it as small as possible. In the case of smelting... the heat alone coming out of the furnace could cause dry brush around the area to catch fire potentially if that heat were to drift enough to the side.
Anyways, gotta appreciate BigStack for taking responsibility by not smelting that day, and also for giving us a three in one video practically in terms of metals melted in a single video.

If you've not tried it, for industrial grease/grime on your hands, try pumice sand soap. I knew a lot of mechanics who keep it on hand. I remember using it way back in Auto shop. That stuff was FANTASTIC! Took the caked on grease like it was nothing. Also did a lot to soften my hands, which was a surprise. I think you'd live it for grimey melts like this one. Either way, I am quite relaxed and enjoying this right now.

I use a face scrubbing soap with those tiny scrubbing beads in it clean my grime hands. It cleans amazingly well! I'm surprised the wife unit can wash her face with it. I do it all the time. It's called ( invigorating facial cleanser) at Target or ( Clean & Clear Morning Burst Cleanser) at the expensive stores. It's only draw back it they are finding those little scrubbing beads in fish now because they go right through the sewage treatment facility and into the ocean.🤯

Sorry if this has been answered, I'm one of those feckin Sparkys, and I couldn't resist. Looks to be a hydraulic reservoir pump. Drain the oil and you should find a pressure pump of some kind that was connected to that motor, as well as threaded ports somewhere that are labeled "inlet" and "outlet", or somesuch thing that tells you where the hoses need to go.
It gets connected to a hydraulic cylinder for things like opening and closing discharge gates on aggregate storage bins.
As for the motor itself, I'm from the States, so I don't want to do too much guessing about it.

I built a fire in my pit at work last week and welted down a bunch of old cans we had and some pieces of tubing with it! It was awesome i just dug a hole at one end of the box in the dirt and kept adding metal to the fire above it as it melted down i was surprised at how easy it was to melt it all down in a good fire 👌 and it was super cool seeing a pool of molten metal with ash floating on it 😂👌 great vid as always bud keep doing what you do

Been watching your videos for a long time. Love the new place and the new pet skink. He will help with any bugs around and you can call him scrap.

What safety measures do you have around your house in case a ember or a spark happens to ignite something or if a mould is too hot?
