Just to quickly answer your question about the maps coming to PC in February. It'll be 7 maps total: 5 classic remakes for Quick Match (3 from Relic and 2 from Community) and 2 variants of existing maps for Coop vs A.I.. And of course all these maps will be playable in Skirmish and Custom Games. :)

Console dont even get the chance to get earnable currency to get battlegroups or cosmetics, we get one update and to get the main content its asking for money after a year of a broken beta game . Disgraceful by the developers. Console is a second thought
I hear you, Nerox. I wonder if those things will be coming in the future? I don’t think it’s a second thought for Relic, I truly believe they’re doing the best they can to get the original game in an ideal state and support consoles the best they can. Right now, they are kind of playing catch-up.
I loved the Bulletins and even the commander system in CoH2! What id really love to see in CoH if not an expac for 3, then in 4 is some Pacific theatre action, give us US Marines and Japanese forces!!!!!!
Oh man, I’m right there with you mattius! COH in the Pacific theater with the Japanese and US factions added to multiplayer would be absolutely insane. I’m really hoping that happens and I think it’s possible. Thanks for the feedback on the bulletins, I like them as well and am very curious about community sentiment.
Part of me wishes Relic would reach out to me and ask for me to remaster my coh1 and coh2 maps for coh3. So much potential there

there is a ton of potential with COH3 for new map designs. Remakes of old maps are very doable as well, they would fit right in if Relic had any interest.@@SargeGG

Yeah, I agree mac, a one year wait for an update is not ideal and especially for building the console community. Ultimately, I think it will be a great update and I hope future updates will come quicker so the game can thrive.

I played several RTS games on console including Command and Conquer and LOTR BFME 2 (lord of the rings RTS) and they were honestly fantastic games, especially playing competitively in multiplayer. Right now, I would say Age of Empires 4 and COH3 are the two best RTS on console. Age 4 has particularly good controller integration, from what I heard.

Well, your fiancé is seriously awesome then. StarCraft was one of my favorite franchises of all time growing up and I even used to stay up late in the night to watch the Korean Pro matches live in South Korea. Epic times haha

Hey Dextroist, it’s a really good question and I also hope to see that. I think we should see a snow map, even in the Italian theater, over the next year. Not sure if we will get that in this update, as 5/7 maps are re-works, but it’s possible!

In team games, I find features cutting off a map in multiple sections like cliffs, waterffalls, lots of buildings etc. that we can find for example in Day 101 make flanking and supporting your teamate really difficult to work with. I would like less of that kind of features and more features that encourage dynamic gameplay. Idk if its just me but most maps in CoH3 are difficult to go around both with infantry and vehicles. good cover btw
Thanks mindrust and great to hear from you. I’ve been thinking about the current map pool a lot and why several of the COH3 maps are not as enjoyable. COH3 maps are either full of dense urban towns with tons of buildings or areas layered with tons of choke points. And then on the opposite end, you have maps like Gazala landing ground which have zero features whatsoever and are completely wide open and flat territory. But I think there’s still a lot to be desired with the maps but I am very much looking forward to the maps coming in 1.5.
@@SargeGG yeah its either the extreme opposite in terms of maps. Looking forward too for 1.5. The game is slowly picking up, thats exciting stuff!

Do you think the soviets will ever be introduced to the game?
I really hope so. It’s probably the most requested faction by the community, so it would be great to see the Soviets in COH3 and I think it is very possible. Fingers crossed 🤞
I would also love to see the Japanese and the Pacific theater, but time will tell!
@@SargeGG oh yeah Japan would be fun! And also a fully playable Italian faction, I think it’s not in the game or at least I haven’t faught anything Italian in the campaign except a few medium tanks
@@songokucarot1668 Yeah, that’s a good point you make regarding an Italian faction. As of right now, there are several Italian battlegroups in the multiplayer mode for the Axis. But I agree, a full-blown Italian faction would be very cool and it makes sense given the Mediterranean theater. I think it’s safe to assume that they will release Italian based battlegroups in a Axis campaign. As of right now, the dynamic campaign is based on the Allies perspective. I assume the next campaign may be Axis.

I just picked up the deluxe edition at GameStop today! So I’m new to the community, I hope we can expect more factions and more single player content! Because I really like the Italian campaign so far but I don’t like multiplayer for the moment, I am obviously getting humiliated by far more experienced players

@@SargeGG yes it’s my first time! Last rts I played was halo wars on Xbox 360, so I’ve been away from this type of games for a long time! But I played one or two hours so far and I’m having loads of fun even tho I keep forgetting what button does what
@@songokucarot1668 Awesome man, love to hear it, Halo Wars is an amazing RTS and especially on console. I played a lot of command and conquer and LOTR BFME 2 on Xbox. Some of the most fun I’ve had with RTS multiplayer. But yeah, controls definitely take time to get used to but you’ll pick it up. Are you starting with the allied campaign or the axis campaign first?
@@SargeGGstarted with the allies and so far I love the way the campaign is made! It’s like multiple sections and I can control units and upgrade them while taking city’s after city, I hope the axis campaign is as good!
@@songokucarot1668 That’s very cool to hear! The Axis campaign is actually a completely different style and resembles more of the traditional COH campaigns from COH1 and COH2. But it is actually my favorite one, as it is more tactical than strategic.

Imagine selling console players coh3 for $65 then not giving them anything for a year while dropping update after update for PC. I guess it just goes to show you how messed up coh3 was on launch that they couldn't even think about console till now.
Exactly. I think COH3 was in a bad state at launch and was ultimately released prematurely, so everything they have been doing since then is purely catch up to speed. It’s definitely not a good feeling for console players but I hope updates will become more frequent overtime. I think this will be a good year for the game with much more content to come.
@SargeGG absolutely brother, let's hope so, and don't get me wrong, I love console coh3 it's the best rts on console its just been frustrating watching PC get all these cool updates.

I read your comment as someone who is very passionate about the game, wanting to see it succeed on console as it should, but being frustrated with the development process so far - which are valid points honestly.
