That was some awesome machine gun teamwork at the start
Thank you Austin, teamwork is so key in this game, Greyfox did a great job helping to push back the allied aggression.
one of the things i do in the early game as ICD BG is to build a medical bunker near the frontline but in a strategic/safe position.
the reason being is due to reinforcements in the frontline being very possible due to CR's fast and cheap reinforcements, along side free reinforcements both the their ability and casualty recovery.
thus ends up saving a lot of manpower from early-mid to late game
Yeah, such a good point, if it’s in a strategic location you don’t even necessarily need the command bunker for the frontline retreat. Which also allows you to go for “designate defensive line” instead of “support bunkers”
Cool to see the new Wehr Battlegroup in action, looking forward to more videos
Also loving the new Wehr BG, very unique compared to the original Battlegroups
Love the videos keep up the good work man
Awesome to hear Mauricio and I absolutely will keep it up! How are you enjoying the new update?
Thanks for posting.
Yet another game where you are VP Points losing, yet the opponents surrender.
I appreciate you and your teammates diving into these games with new battlegroups. There is always great cohesion like usual. It's fun to watch you work through the planning and integrate some untested strategies. We the audience see the result.
Oh absolutely, appreciate this a lot and glad you enjoyed the match Seth! This was our second game with the new battlegroup, so we were definitely fumbling around trying to figure it out haha. But these BGs offer so many cool new options in terms of tactical and strategic decision making. How are you enjoying the new update?
It's a lot of fun but there is a learning curve. With the US, I've been leaning heavily on rangers to call in weapon drops and equip non ranger squads like Captain Retinue, Scouts and55 rifleman with weapons. This has been a force multiplier in few of my games. That said, I never know with 100% certainty what weapons the plane will drop for the crews. It seems like the brownings are first to drop for 100 munitions followed by bazookas for another 100 munitions followed by flamethrowers when using the same ranger squad for consecutive callins.
@@sethv9039 Right, the weapon drop RNG makes it very tricky. I personally really like the vanilla Ranger squad with the Thompsons at close range. However - I think the key is to upgrade your rangers with the weapon drop in combination with the weapon training, as it dramatically increases the combat value.
That was a great video!! really good tactics with a good team. Getting a like and a sub!! Cant wait to see more!!
Hey Landon, thank you, really appreciate all the support for the channel and glad to hear you enjoyed the match. Will be uploading more soon
What are those spraying arty all over your team nonstop? That’s torture man.
Just got this update/DLC for console
Between anti-tank bunkers & cheap mines, it feels like a cheat code for a turtler like me 😅
Haha that’s awesome! Yeah, I like how Relic is starting to add a lot more defensive Battlegroups, units, and tools for defensive style players.
what are some of the stratagies that you like to deploy while using the costal? im interested to see some of the deep theory that you are up to SARGE!!! Also whats up! hows the december going for you and you family my man?
Haha a lot of theory crafting going on and especially with the bunker play. But I and the family are doing great, love this time of the year, thank you for asking :) how about you?
@SargeGG you already know they are well. My doctor office job finally promoted me so that's been going great! Thanks for asking sarge :)
@@stealthelf12Oh that’s great news, hard work pays off man. How are you enjoying the new update?
@SargeGG you have no freaking idea! The new update is sooo good. Thumbs up to relic for reviving a dying game
Are you gonna do some play-by-play videos soon again, where there is a little more explanation for all us noobs? :)
Hey Blackwing, I did one just for you and it will be uploaded soon. It’s a play-by-play on the new USF Advanced Infantry BG. I hope you enjoy it :)
@@SargeGG That's awesome! Also I would like to add to the noob plays list one more about how to counter these new BGs. Especially the Italian Coastal. Although it seems when at least 2 players unload all their artillery on the bunker line it's kind of easy to push what's left :D
Then maybe a more important one would be some kind of Sarge War Room video about ideas on how to make pushes when you or your whole team was on the back leg the whole match. I keep stumbling into games where the teammates and/or my brother keeps capitulating if they just can't think of a doable push.
@@matasgrigaravicius4793 it’s a very good question matas, as the Italian coastal BG is extremely strong and especially in team games. The coastal reserve infantry is super efficient, at a 20 manpower reinforcement cost and good scalability, alongside the artillery officer and bunker networks… not to mention the Obice in the late game.
In large team games, you really want an airborne player on your team to have good coordination and communication. Bombing runs and heavy off-map are key.
@@SargeGG I see your point. I think learning to counter the bunkers will eventually help me with the whole push situation. Knowing what artilery works best for the situation and where and when to paradrop.
I’m a huge Brits main as I only learned them. Do you think I should go more with USA when trying to be the airborne overlook guy?
Pios soo gud
@@SargeGG Rangers atm can be broken with all the passive buffs active
@@streettrout855 They can be extremely strong. Currently, I like swapping a vetted Rifleman for a Ranger in the mid to late game, as it’s much less taxing on your economy.
Solid teamwork and communication with the center player in teal, fun watch
Thank you, yeah, we were on the back foot in the early game and they had a lot of indirect between the mortars and the new spec ops pack howitzer. Happy we were able to bounce back.
