Good day my mother's and my son's birthday is November 3 he passed in 2011 , nice to see ya hunting , ya get a chance come to Springfield's show sometime have a fine time!
I've only been to the Springfield show one time. I've known Stephen Burks for years. Going to try and make it down this coming May, though can't promise anything because it is always a busy time for me in May, especially with our show on the 3rd Saturday of May.

I always come back to how can you lose such a fine thing?
It must be a weather event that enundates these river settlements and takes thing's away like today's event's.... can you imagine before forecasters???? Looks like rain, possibly sun!!!!
It's the pure amount of lythics that point to major habitation over vast periods of time.....
I'm a hunter and fairly successful. I've left 2 knifes in the wood's and one on the river in 40 year's. I know where they are but I'll be darned if I'm going to go back for that.
So how many perfects should you see among broken?
I don't know! But it's a question.
What's the consensus about many perfects? Flood? War?
Really shouldn't be like that if it was congenial.
It's like taking what you can and getting out dodge
As someone else who made the greatest profession of being an archaeologist. Stated, with everything that has been found, It is probably only 10% or less of what is out there pertaining to prehistoric artifacts. When a modern day knapper, who has become experienced, can knap a point in an hour or less. It is probably unfathomable in numbers how many points were made by a single prehistoric human throughout their lifetime. Then the number of how many prehistoric humans lived on this continent for over 10,000 years, is definitely going to be an unfathomable amount. They discarded them very easily, because they knew it was easy to make another. 90% of what is found, was discarded. The other 10% is what was found cashed for a later usage.
Always take it as a blessing to be extremely grateful for where I live and the amount of artifacts have found. Have a crazy amount of broken one's, where the numbers of whole points, Will never amount to the ones that were broke or slightly damaged.

Thanks my friend. We've lucky stayed warm. Have a few above average warm days coming. I'ma ready. The artifact show is always going to be the 3rd Saturday every May. This year the date is on the 20th. You should try and make it..
