    Just used your icing recipe to make 2 gingerbread houses and a train with my 5 year old nephew!! Thanks so much, it really was fool proof!😅😄 They turned out amazing!❤
    Ps. I had a bit of an accident in the kitchen, totally unrelated, so I had to stop and clean that up before I put it in the piping bag. I just left it in the mixer on stir until I was ready for it and it didn't solidify in the 30 minutes it took me to clean up the other mess.😉

    Emily, your work and creativity are extraordinary. I re-posted the link to your gingerbread house to Laura’s youtube channel, Garden Answer’s , I think 2 years ago and it got hundreds of thousands of views. Thank you for doing an update.     Do you have to let the icing sit, or can I use it straight away?

      It can be used right away. If you find there are a lot of little air bubbles in your icing, then let it sit upright overnight. In the morning you will see all the air bubbles have risen to the top of the bag.

    how long can this stay in the fridge?

      Since it has raw egg whites, I would say about 3 days. If you are using meringue powder it can be stored a bit longer. If you are using it for a gingerbread house and not planning to eat it, I wouldn’t worry too much about this

    You don't need to sift the icing sugar?

      I’ve found that it isn’t necessary. The icing sugar dissolves easily into the mixture and stirring it will easily get rid of any clumps
