Hi Stephanie, so interesting...I was literally just thinking about your recipe that i tried last year for a function only to see that you literally just uploaded a new video...talk about blessings! Thank you so much! You've always been so awesome! I am looking forward to sharing this set as well! ❤️Jeremiah 29:11 & John 3:16!
Thank you so very much for this video! I just love it! I love how detailed you explained and how beautifully recorded step by step… I love it! I have always wanted to learn how to make these. I love how you showed to use the mixer and the rolling pin. Im definitely gonna try these for Christmas! Thank you! God Bless! 🙏🥰💐💖
@@LittleCookieCo they came out beautifully! The shape holds really good and the taste, oh my! Golden, crispy edge and soft middle 👌 Thank you once again! 🥰
I only make sugar cookies for fun, I have my first order in a few days and although i was hesitant on whether to use this recipe or the one i always make, I decided on making this recipe the cookies look great! I’m sure mine will turn out great too ❤
Yay!! I hope you love them and so do your customers!! And congratulations on your first order, that's amazing! It's a scary step, but you'll do amazing!
Yes 🙌 you can do this!! I know of lots or cookiers that have started with my videos, and after making some cookies, word of mouth got out and they started a business! And some are the most amazing cookie artists now, way more talented than me! Sometimes you just need that confidence to get started and then there's no stopping you!!
I can't wait to try your recipe, it looks so much different then others with the golden brown yumminess. Hopefully I'll be making a batch come Christmas time, with your icing recipe, cuz that butter emulsion GIRL I can't wait!! Ty so much for sharing 💙💙
The brown sugar is key!!! Is it a cookie recipe without it??!!! It gives the golden colour and that nice caramelized bottom plus the buttery flavour, put some icing on it and it's soooo good!!! Hope you love it ❤️❤️
I first roll all the dough from the mixing bowl, then set aside the scraps. Then once I'm done with all the mixing bowl dough, I'll start rolling my scraps out and repeat the process til it's all done! This just helps the same price of dough from being rolled out a lot of times, which sometimes cause big bubbles to form on the surface or even cookies to spread!
What a fabulous tutorial! Can I please ask are these cookies suitable for coating with fondant rather than royal icing please? I am just wondering if they might be a bit soft if coating in fondant rather than firm royal icing? Thank you!
Even though they are a softer bite they still are quite sturdy. I've never tried with fondant, but I think they would be sturdy enough, because I've bagged and transported these cookies quire easily. Just make sure to bake them through if you cut them thicker so they aren't too soft in the middle!
You're welcome! I don't have a video on that, but I suggest you roll out your dough like an inch or two thick in a rectangle and then wrap the dough in saran wrap, and this way they stack really well and will defrost quicker and evenly when you're ready to use it!
Do you add the butter emulsion to make up for using less butter? I notice most recipes use 2 cups of butter to 5-6 cups of flour. Also, you mentioned putting the leftover cutout dough in a bowl. What do you do with it?
I just find it enhances the flavour of the cookies. There is a lot of flour so the cookies don't spread, and sometimes it makes it lack a little depth of flavour and this butter flavour is just so subtle it helps bring out the best flavours in the cookie. I also use it in my icing and it pairs so well with the cookie! I'll put my scraps aside until I've rolled all my dough and then I will go to my scraps and start rolling that. This way I'm not rolling some dough way more times than necessary which can cause bubbles on the surface of the cookie.

It depends how thick your cookies are, if you want them more crispy, it's best to roll them thinner and cook for 13 or so minutes. I usually bake them for about 10 minutes and then keep checking on them and when the edges are golden you know there good!
I used your recipe and these were the best sugar cookies ive made

Yay!!! They go so well together ❤️ hope you love it!!
I could watch you make these all day! 😂 #Sugar #Delicious
Aww thank you 🥰❤️
Awesome! Can’t wait to try this recipe this weekend! When do you roll and bake the dough that was on the plate?

Sorry please forgive me 🙏🏼 but please can you also share a chocolate cookie dough 😁
Unfortunately, I don't have a chocolate recipe yet, I'm going to have to work on one!!
Do you use a cup of packed brown sugar? Can’t wait to make this recipe!
Yup! Packed brown sugar goodness 😄🥰

Have you heard of Google or Alexa... Just ask
I will try and add the grams into the recipe this week, thanks!

How long should the cookies bake for a crunchy version sometimes soft and chewy is not a fan
