I bought a k1 a while ago and luckily got mine on a huge sale. I knew it needed some work but at the time it was the cheapest way to get a core xy printer. I upgraded it to the newest extruder, hotend and bought a camera. I also had to manually level bed and rooted it, installed carbon filter, sealed the enclosure up and rerouted the ptfe tube. I did much more than that but those are the main things. Now it is my best and most dependable printer. I may install smaller pulleys at one point as well but the VFA's are not that prevalent on mine. I agree the K1C should have been what they came out with at the beginning. I am considering the k1 max if the price goes down enough. I assume it will when the k2 plus comes out. Thanks for the review. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

@kreinova2747 I got mine for 597$ CAD from what I remember. I am in Canada though so that is by far the cheapest I have seen so far. The regular price was 849$ at the time. And yes I like it very much. I wish the bed was larger but that is about it

After just a third of the first roll of filament a piece was stuck between extruder's rollers blocking it completely, and I just hope it was a fluke....
Do you have any ideas on replacing extremally noisy fans?

Got one two weeks ago. Apparently it's a new batch with all fixes included if they had any :). Anyway, after such short period of time, only after some small printing of different calibration figures and some toys, one of the pooleys broke down. I am not sure that I name the part correctly, but it is the one with teeth that transfers a movement of the belt to one of the shafts to adjust the height of the bed. When it broke, the belt got loose and the front part of the bed just fell down to the bottom. There are three shafts and only the farthest (back) shaft is directly driven by a motor, while two front shafts are driven with a belt. Two weeks and such issue. I wonder what tension appeared on the shaft, that the pooley made of some kind of cast metal broke to pieces :(

Creality Support suggested to check the wires connections to the bed, although I sent them photos of the broken part and the tilted bed :)

@@MaximPodbereznyy So they didn't even acknowledge the broken part even though you mentioned it and sent photos of it?
