Is the cervical samples or swabs taken during a smear or HPV test and or tissue retained during a colposcopy identical to all cervical cells of the specific patient that is being tested? If there are say for example, one or two locations of visible lesions on the cervix or more or less but, there is limited visibility of the cervix and the sample that is taken is not directly from the lesion tissue. Will the non lesion sample still indicate the lesion tissue that is on a different location of the cervix?

I had the LEEP cone procedure in 2008 and now I’ve been told I once again have high grade cervical dysplasia. Dreading having the lee procedure done again. I had horrible after effects from it.

I was wondering if you could give more information regarding the use of Aldara for moderate cervical dysphasia prior to any other treatment?
Fyi: I had a bad reaction to Aldara, it made me really weak and the infection didn’t go away.

Doc, I underwent transanal excision of sessile rectal polyp . Cause of polyp is still unknown. Can it be caused by HPV in males.

I had the LEEP cone procedure in 2008 and now I’ve been told I once again have high grade cervical dysplasia. Dreading having the lee procedure done again. I had horrible after effects from it.

I have HPV 16, 18. I had the leep procedure, a complete hysterectomy and laser treatment. Since then I have been testing negative, but now I have excruciating pain with sex. I don't want to infect anyone and because of my HPV I am no longer datable. I am also saddened because HPV is also contagious by skin to skin contact. Any recommendations for me?

I’m so depressed I just have a call that I’m positive. I’m worried. What if it’s been a more than two years now to me . I have been checked for 5 years is it a good idea if to start the and treat as high risk .
