3x cancer survivor here... cervical cancer, skin cancer and lastly lung cancer and im here still
❤God bless you

What a warrior!
❤ Glory to god
I had cervical cancer, but it wasnt found ùntil i had a 5-yr follow up colonoscopy, as i had polyps with my last colonoscopy. They found a tumor in my rectum that had originated in my vagina. It was stagwd as T4-a. That means there was local lymph node involvement. I had 4 weeks (5 days per week) with 4 weeks of chemo(1 time a week). I then went through brachytherapy. I had to have a colostomy due to the fear of a fistula forming between my vagina and rectum. Fortunately, the colostomy was reversed, as no fistula formed. The brachytherapy was successful, and now I'm cancer free. Its been 3 yrs. I suspect it was because i had HPV when i was younger. I was never afraid i would die. God is good!
I had hpv when I became pregnant. The doctor told me I had to have an abortion. I was more afraid to abort than to have my baby. 16 years later we’re both still alive, my baby and I. Doctors don’t always know.
Why would they suggest you needed an abortion?
Wtf
Hpv is NO reason to have an Abortion. That Dr. Should lose their license
Turkey tail mushroom is good for hpv control
I would not aboard it no matter what but god is good
I had Cervical Cancer at 28 years old and I had two kids already. I ended up a partial Hysterectomy., I had the same Cancer you had. I'm a Cancer Survivor. Glad you doing good.😊😊😊😊😊
At age 40 i had a total abdominal hysterectomy due to early diagnosed cervical cancer. I had recently remarried and was trying to have a baby. My doctor told me it was more important for me to be here for the children i already had with my 1st husband. So i chose the surgery and did not need chemo or radiation. If i had chose not to have the TAH i would have needed chemo and radiation. I also had to have CT scans every year for 5 years following my surgery. Now 20 yrs later im still here and cancer free
Praise God
I was 24 when diagnosed with cervical cancer(50 now). Cryogenic procedure was unsucessful so I had laser surgery which got rid of it completely and has never returned. Chemo, radiation, or hysterectomy had never been brought up by my doctor. I feel very lucky. I pray for this woman and all that have had a more extensive process in order to take care of the cancer.💓
Cervical cancer, when caught early and before it becomes invasive, is completely curable with surgery alone. Once it has spread to the lymph nodes or other organs, chemo and radiation are necessary.
🙏❤️🙏
My baby girl saved my life. I thought I had a problem with scaring due to my emergency c section 4 months prior . Went in for a check up because I was still spotting. Turned out to be a big tumor , had chemo-radiation and brachytherapy (2b2) and am 4,5 years out and doing really well. Just offering some hope to the ladies who are just being diagnosed .
Glory be to God. Happy you are here with us beautiful.
i got goosebumps when thinking of brachy
This is so reassuring. I just finished chemo, external radiation and brachytherapy last month. It's been so challenging going immediately into menopause. All of this is so overwhelming.
I had HPV and cervical cancer but luckily I found it in the very early stages. They also told me I couldn’t have any more babies at that time two years later I had my daughter I was 28 years old when I was diagnosed. Had my daughter by 30 and now 20 years later I’m completely fine and every time I test my body has cleared the HPV from my system.
I found I had hpv 5 years ago and I was told the type I had was not dangerous. Last year I did another test and my body got rid of it.
Thank you good.
🙏🏼❤️
Quite common yes!
How did you find out your body got rid of it?
@@tafadzwachigwada5799 you just get tested for hpv again and see if the results are positive or negative.
Probably when they did another pap and lab results?@@tafadzwachigwada5799
How does one feel a bump on their cervix?
I was diagnosed in 2021 with stage 3bc neuroendocrine carcinoma of the cervix which was a rear and aggressive case, no second or third opinion wanted to treat me because of how rear the cancer is (1% of Asian population).Did chemo and radiation no surgery im still free from that cancer. However in 2022, I was diagnosed with chemo induced AML leukemia i spent from November 2022 until July 2023 in the hospital. I received a bone marrow transplant on June 14th (my new birthday). Im still in the recovery phase but one thing I know and sure of is prayer works.
I heard so many talking about this after the C💉’s mandated thing. I pray God gives us all, His grace and mercy that we will have learned to say No if this ever happens again.
Yes ..God answers prayers… What the enemy meant for evil God can turn for good trust in the Lord with all your heart lean not to your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he will pave a good path for you. In Jesus name amen
I'm very glad to know that you're doing well. As English is not your first language, I feel that I need to let you know that it's a "rare" cancer, not "rear". Rear means behind, as in "Please go to the rear of the line." Rear has several meanings, but back, or behind, or end, is thecmain definition. Rare means unique, or uncommon. (It also means lightly-cooked meat).
Excuse me, Did you say chemo induced leukemia, as in the treatment to cure your cancer gave you cancer?? Why does nobody talk about this, I’ve never heard of this 😢 I’m so glad you survived and you’re still here❤

Having my son saved my life, I had no intentions of becoming a Mum, I was 25, just bought my first home. At five months I was told I had cervical pre-cancerous cells, as it stood not a big deal but if not having my son it could've been. I was treated after the birth.
What did treatment consist of?
@@lakeshadavisld The abnormal cells were frozen off. 5 injections to numb the area and I walked home, totally painless.
So you had cervical dysplasia

I see all these happy, smiling, cancer patients and can't relate. My daughter has suspected ovarian cancer, she cannot travel to have the definitive diagnosis as she is in too much pain. She can't get proper pain relief because of the harsh controls around opiates so her days are not happy, ever. We have no services so we do what we can to nurse her..we is me,72, and her brother who has serious mental health issues. Our days are full of pain, tears, frustration, fear..no smiles here. Doctors have dismissed, ignored, lied, threatened and terrorised my daughter to the point she is refusing hospital and has been labelled non compliant, despite having all invasive, painful tests requested and done everything except travel as she is in too much pain. She is a single mother, trying to parent from her bed. Third world country? No. Australia.
STIs are out of control. Sex isn't worth the harm potential in my opinion.
The problem is people sleep around.
That's disgusting. They lie, cheat, steal.

When you have cancer got to be a worrier.
"I started feeling this lump inside my cervix" Im a bit confused..how did you feel a lump behind a closed cervix🤔 Maybe Im missing something.
She may have misspoke …”inside” possibly could mean inside her vagina and feeling the outer side of cervix which is very possible to feel especially when close to your period.
I am confused too
Never take life for grated your life can change fast, live life to it's fullest cherish every minute of it.
I'm not a big vax person myself, but I pushed my daughter hard to get the Gardasil vax for this very reason. Cervical and ovarian cancers are so insidious that they avoid early detection many times. That and regular, periodic examinations are a must.
I received full round of Gardasil when I was 18 and still contracted high risk HPV. All pap results were abnormal since I was 25 & have resulted in ultrasounds and biopsies
I made my boys get it so they didn’t pass anything on to their partners.
Great! All should get it and at a young age. In my family we lost a male to HPV throat cancer, had a HPV cervical cancer step sister and me, HPV vulvar cancer. The surgery ruined my life. Don’t let your kids go through one of these when there is a vaccine out there
There are over 300 variants of HPV and the vaccines only cover around 10 of the most common ones. Getting the vaccine isn’t bad, (I recommend it) , but don’t rely on it for protection against ALL HPV variants.
You can also have HPV clear on its own ( your immune system does that) only to have it come back at a time your immune system is weakened like during pregnancy, illness, stress, older age, corticosteroid use, or immunosuppressants.
We (I’m a Cytologist, the lab scientist who screens Pap tests and biopsies for cancer and diseases) have also noticed an increase in HPV negative cervical carcinomas ( cancer). We think it has to do with mutations resulting in lower HPV viral particles in the cells below what the HPV test can detect.
HPV is tested on an analyzer and lets you know if you HAVE the virus.
The Pap test is a microscopic slide manually screened by a Cytologist who looks for the changes in cells that are precancerous or cancerous. We have seen an increase in cervical cancer since they have changed the Pap smear screening interval from annually to every 3 or 5 years.
@@08Jahnai got the vaccine as a kid and still got hr hpv too😢 im like what was even the point if you can still contract it smh
I was told when I was 21, that I was halfway to cervical cancer. I have endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, had a laparoscopic diagnosis of the uterus to try to help the pain the endometriosis was causing to no avail, and nothing. For 5 years after all that, nothing. So I’m now in my early 30s, and I’ve felt those bumps she spoke about in the beginning. Had them checked out, they said they were benign. I need to get a second opinion with this new insurance, cuz I fear it may be closer than I realize. I’ll take seeing this video on my feed as a sign to keep on top of my health, especially that warning of cervical cancer.
Miss, I hope you’re happy and healthy and doing great these days, and as a non religious person, I’ll pray for lifelong remission for you.
Maybe you can answer this for me. She said she felt lumps inside her cervix. How did you fell these lumps? Does she mean inside, as in behind her cervix or like the cervix itself felt lumpy? How were you both able to feel that? I can't eve reach my cervix to check for my IUD strings. Was there another way to feel it?
@@breezeh1127; as graphic as it may sound to some, it’s a simple as feeling boobies or ballsacks for lumps.
Ok, so if you use tampons, you stop at the same point cuz you can’t go any further. That. Feel that. Take a seat in the bathroom, spread your knees, insert a finger and feel that back wall. (I had a single bump, which after several months, grew another.) your walls are not smooth, they’re almost like treads. But go straight back, and you’ll hit some tissue you can’t get past, that’s your wall, or cervix. Check it out, twice a year, and your breasts. Maintain your reproductive health. Idgaf what anyone else says, this is your body, and you need to know what’s going on with it.
@@Khaleesi_Jack I can't remember if it's this thread or another where I mention I can't reach my cervix. It's not anatomically possible for me. I literally have a super high cervix and have to have a doctor use cameras to check my strings of my IUD. I was asking because she said "inside". I was wondering if she meant inside like on the other side of the cervix from her vaginal canal. Or if she can feel it some other way like during intercourse or something.
@@Khaleesi_Jack correct!!
Thank you for explaining, good information
Weird about the insurance. I would think that cancer is fully covered. Bills are the last thing someone should worry about when they have cancer.
Thank you for sharing your story. How is your health now? And do you think the cold cap treatment was worth the cost?

God bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My Goodness. Whilst going through cancer treatment one doesn't need to worry about insurance companies billing incorrectly. Stress doesn't help the healing process. I am sorry you had to stress yourself about billing. Glad you are now thriving.
Insurance companies don't "bill." They receive bills, and pay them according to contracts mostly.

The United States really upsets me with their medical care. I moved to a third world country and here every time you go for your routine tests, they give you an internal sonogram. This has saved my life as I had a huge benign tumor near my ovaries. If I had stayed in the US, it would have grown in to my intestines and then there would have been problems or it could have turned to cancer. If doctors would do this test instead of waiting until there is already a problem the person could be saved the heartache and the insurance companies would save on cancer treatments. The United States has terrible health care and is supposed to be the leading country, hell no.
I live in the Carribbean and was SHOCKED to know that Health Services was sooooo bad in the US. My 4 yr old grand daughter have this terrible cough for more than a yr. I cannot count the amount of time she has been to ER.. They have her 3mths appointment to see.E. N .T.and another appointment for a specialist to see her lung. All now no diagnosis. I keep wondering if it is because she is a child of colour. She still has the cough. Not bad though. It's hard to watch and feel helpless but I thank God she is still bouncy and about.❤
