Awesome, honest review. Thank you for the details about the carryon, it not fitting under the seat, the light color and scuffing (I had the same problem with the Delsey and an eraser helps, but…), etc. This is exactly the review I was looking for.

Strongly recommend the MONOS luggage covers which do an excellent job of protecting the suitcases from dirt, scratches, dings, etc.
I didn’t know about this in the beginning but I do believe this is a perfect idea to protect the luggage’s. Thank you ☺️
Yes I agree, a cover is necessary. I got mine off Amazon nylon ones for much less than the Monos brand. I’ve used them for about 4-5 trips and it’s been wonderful to see no scratches.
This comment has just deterred me from wanting to purchase. If I need to buy a COVER for the hard cover itself to keep it looking decent, that's a hard pass.
That makes sense. If I had known this, I would have passed on them too! I do enjoy that they are very light and the wheels are really easy to maneuver. But I am sure other brands have that as well. @@adua78

The metro duffel looks good but I don't like how narrow the opening is and how heavy it is. Mine has air bubbles in the leather after 2 uses. I reached out to their support, and it's been over a month--they haven't gotten back to me. Safe to say, I don't think I will be purchasing any more monos luggage. I'm going to give Beis a try now.
I have this duffle bag. It’s quite tall. I would not expect it to fit under standard airplane seats without laying it down. Mine fits pretty well under seats.Also, isn’t this bag like 4lbs empty? Isn’t it being heavy due to what’s put in it?

Hi! No, My husband brought 2 medium size luggage’s. It was so hard to pack any lighter but we were only there for 10 days.

I’m 5’8. I did a comparison in the initial review.
How secure are the zippers? Can you open them up with a pen?
Beware! Bought the metro backpack. Zipper broke in less than a year and getting in touch with customer service is nearly impossible. Zippers are supposedly covered in the warranty for 2 years. They have ghosted me. There are better options out there.
Is it the Ivory. Does it look an in real life? The metropak in ivory looks tan.
Is this the carry on pro plus (slightly bigger one) or the regular carry on pro (smaller one)? Also, I’m an over packer and will get anxiety about not being able to bring everything I want. Do you think the medium still had a decent amount of space for someone who likes to pack a lot? Or should I definitely go with the large size?

This is the carry on pro and if you pack a lot, I’d recommend getting the large luggage. The medium is on the smaller side to me.

The issue with the pro is if you lock it, someone can still open the laptop part and just cut into the back to open it.
Was your carry on the pro plus, the bigger one? Why did they have you check it in?
I have the carry on pro. The smaller airport only allowed one bag as a carry-on which was my duffel.

DO NOT BUY MONOS. I bought a set of two MONOS suitcases. I traveled to Italy with my family. The others on our trip had AWAY and Briggs & Riley. My luggage looked so cheap next to theirs. Mine also buckled when stacked with the others. Their bags were several years old. My BRAND-NEW luggage looked like I tied the suitcases to the back of a truck and drove around town. Their bags looked new next to mine. I contacted MONOS to let them know how the luggage faired, and they told me to pound sand since I had used the luggage on the trip.
You’ll find complaints on the other suitcases too. 🤷🏽♀️ As long as it gets me to my destination, I’m good.
