Hey everyone, Sincerest apologies for not being around for the release and your comments. It's been very hectic the last few days. What was your favourite dish in this video? Let me know below.
My apologies for not having been able keep up with your videos bro! Been quite busy at work. I lost your algorithm, but im trying to bring it back to my yt!
Thai food and food in Thailand are so delicious. The ingredients are good quality also the cooking style is the art of mixing of taste. There are tons of food here you can choose and enjoy them everyday. Most of them are not expensive and their cost are reasonable. Thailand is not the best, rich. Most people living here are happy and comfortable. We welcome good people from everywhere no matter who they are. People have many choices and feel free to stay here. People can have suitable selection for themselves with kindness and good skill. Please enjoy good things good places here in THAILAND.
I love this particular food tour! Soooo my kind of chow! Noticed that you eat like a Filipino now, with a spoon and a fork 😂. By the way, did you forget how the Chicharon (deep fried pork skin with fat) tastes like in the Philippines? Looks exactly like what you ordered in the third resto you went to.
@@PureDetour with liquids/sauces it's kinda hard to think of a verb that implies a modest amount---spritz if you use a mister and perhaps sprinkle but that's more for powders i guess. drip?
That is exactly what they were. But had I said Chicharron nobody but Filipinos would understand what I was talking about. And I am trying to stop comparing food with dishes from the Philippines. I'm not sure if people find it annoying or not.
Here Hai is all over social media and I tried to film there when I was here a few years ago and couldn't get in. I should say I wasn't willing to wait to get in at that point in time. Heng Hoitod Chawlae someone recommended to me that lives in the building I am staying in when told them I was going to film in Ekkamai Hom Duan, someone I know from Chiang Mai that lives in Bangkok now recommended it. He swears that it will be the next Michelin rated restaurant in Bangkok. And after eating there, he may not be wrong.
That Bib Gourmand recommendation from Michelin also plays a huge part in that price As to the colour, you are correct. No matter how many node trees I built, I could not get balanced. I really need to learn to colour grade better, but I pushed this one to the limit of being ready to be released so I had to go with it. I bought a few new shirts that lighter coloured from my typical dark blues, black and charcoal gray so that added another element into this
Try to eat at REAL local Thai restaurants and not the tourist ones with menus in Chinese Korean English and Russian filled with other foreigners eating and the food will be ALOT better and cheaper. Just a tip=)
This entire video was filmed in Ekkamai. I don't think you can find a single spot in Ekkamai that won't have English on their menu. I am staying in On Nut and I have yet to see a place here that doesn't also have English on the Menu. I may have found one today out near MOCA with awesome food. I went for beer, but turns out their food is fantastic too. And I am all ears if you have any recommendations. Thanks for the great feedback
@@PureDetour Well after +15 years living and working in Krungthep (bangkok) i do have a pretty good idea about the city and where u are =). Try to leave the farang/tourist comfortzone and se REAL Bangkok where they are no English menus and real normal Thais live? Just take mrt or bts 15-20 minutes from citypart to a random station and explore..i think u will be amazed how much better the food is and how nice ppl are

Thank you for tuning in and the kind words my friend
First to comment! Love your videos! i see Emz!
You're awesome
Absolutely love crab. Winner hands dow for me was the crab omelette, definitely would have had 2 Cokes to wash it down with. Excellent all around
Thank you my friend. Unfortunately the only beverages I consume are water, coffee, beer or wine and the occasional juice, so no cokes for me.
Carinderia style in bangkok! Wow!!! You pick what you want! Hehe
Yup, very much like a canteen or Carinderia

อร่อยจนหลุดนอกโลกไปเลย😂
ออกจากโลกนี้อย่างแน่นอน😁
I missed you saying that Geoff! Haha
STFD?
We have something like that here in the Ph 🇵🇭Geoff. Its called Oyster omelette. Predominantly available around Malabon Area!
Yes, I have them there. These are bit a different because of the rice flour and Tapioca flour used to make all the crispy bits. But very similiar
ดูแล้ว หิวเลย ครับผม
ขอโทษด้วยกับเรื่องนั้น.😂
douse with a little bit, hehehe
Come on Elf, it's chili sauce what did you expect?😂

In the ph 🇵🇭, we call it Chicharon or Chicharones. Deep fried pork fat, good with hot sauce with beer!

monotone color palette but SO. MUCH. CRAB. no wonder it's not cheap.
