Thank you for another wonderful video! Everything looks delish and I am drooling😂😂😂 I have never seen a bone served that big! No steamed rice? Marrow is better with rice in my opinion or spread in a baguette. That Bourbon Bacon Jam oh my 🤤🤤🤤 Hi Em!!!
I agree with you about rice with the bone marrow. I asked for it, but the only thing they make is soup noodles there. Still delicious, but really could have used a bit of rice with that bone marrow, Sadohr.😁
@@PureDetour Yes, marrow is so delish in rice with a bit of the soup and fish sauce 🤤. Too bad that they only served soup. Would have been more satisfying!
Didn't sound very serious, but I had to at least go check. I wouldn't feel right iif someone really needed help I was just shoving my pie hole full of food.
Nice! I'm a Joe's regular customer. If you go to Hoi An Vietnam, try CIRCLE for the amazing Juicy Lucy burgers (if you haven't already been). You'll love it like Joe's!
Great video. try holding your sticks a little closer to the middle and holding the top stick seperate. (hit a pic of the right way... you can increase your dexterity a lot).
My father love these beef broth once you cut the meat out then dipp into the sauce. Beef bone marrow help ease knees pains because of its nutrient collagen from the broth and bones . Bon appetit !
Hi everyone I'm glad you like Cambodian foods thank u for ur video sharing very nice I'm wishing everyone all gd txn u I'm Cambodian American 👸🙏💐💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹♥️💞💕💕💕☕🍜☕🍜
I did go back to Joe's, but I went on the tour that Chris offers, and Beef Lok Lak is part of that tour package. I must say that everything Julli(sp?) cooks is amazing. If I make it back to Siem Reap I will be sure to try the lasagna
It would be great if you could list the places and the foods you had in your description so we all can try them. Thanks for the video! My bad you did! Thanks!
I would assume so. They provided them so I went with it. It actually is handy in this case when I have to touch cameras. I can eat full on with my hands as it is common in many countries, but I still have not learned the subtle art of keeping one hand clean while doing it.😂
The thing you ate that look like jelly and fat is not fat, those are tendon make up of 100% protein. You can eat those instead of protein powder if you want
Now that you say that, it may have been exactly what that was. I wasn't sold on it being tamarind, but it quite possibly was a fermented soy bean paste.
@@PureDetour for that's kind of beef bone soup if it homemade we usually eat with pepper lime sauce, but mostly the store that sell this are offer the soybean paste sauce. I cooked this soup once a week it's healthy.
I caught that from one of the comments, Alan. 😂 As i said in the video, it is a much more subtle beef flavour to the broth. And when I said it, it was a direct comparison to a kansi, bulalo or pochero from the Philippines that all have very intense beef flavours to the broth. It's still good and the marrow is spectacular. Just wish it it had more intense flavour to the broth
Watching you chow down that delicious looking soups, make my mouth watery, thanks

The next time you're at Joe's, consider the kickarse lasagna.

@wildwildwest1662 , You're not wrong about. I would think it would be at least $75
7$ is reasonable price ,

@@PureDetour yes you did! lol 🙏. Definitely will try those venues in the future visit to Cambodia. Thanks
@@PureDetourthanks so much though. I've been a way from my country for too long that I didn't have a clue what's new over there. Thanks a gain 👍

Elf........OMG!🤤
i would like to try. thank you
If you get the chance, let me know what you think
The blue cheese is ordered. We can order it but it's so over priced for a small amount that we pass on it. But yeah, probably Emborg blue cheese
You make me cry !
Why cry?
🙏🥰
Thank you ❤️
why the glove ? to not touch the bone ??
😆

I feel bad for the camera man or woman.
😂 Why?
I’m Pretty sure that’s soybean paste sauce
Now that you say that, it may have been exactly what that was. I wasn't sold on it being tamarind, but it quite possibly was a fermented soy bean paste.

Wheres your wife
I'm not married, do you mean my Filipino girlfriend? She was with me in last part of this video, but she doesn't like to appear on camera
Yo! Im going salivating brother.. thats a massive bone marrow! Taste-wise, How is it compared to “bulalo” in the Philippine?
Alan here Geoff!

@@PureDetour i guess they wanna focus more into the spices knowing like Thailand, Cambodia is also known for their regional spices and ingredients!
