Ditto. I’m looking for something to build up a sonic landscape, using a rack full of digital and analog synthesizers plugged in via MIDI and the cv / gate outputs, and maybe even plug a real electric guitar or synthesizer keyboard (like a Moog Matriarch) into it and really playing it. There are already plenty of demos of slapping together trite, built-in, over-used sample libraries, droning on, with little apparent musicality-the modern rendition of “yeah, yeah, yeah”. Lol. This demo was much more interesting and relevant to me. Thank you for uploading it.
Juno 6 owner here. This VST is absolutely fantastic. It has the secret ingredient thr Juno 6/106 has - It makes you feel (as the creator stated at the start of the video). It doesnt matter if it sounds the "Same" as a "Real" Juno - No Juno sounds the exact same now to another. What they all do have is their sound makes you feel/want to play it.
I Had a Juno 6 and loved the sound BUT no midi and it was so big. Gave it away to a guy who helped me move. Bought the jura plug in and I had my Juno back with midi and inside my MPC Live and Force, what's not to like😃😃😃😃😃😃😎😎
Akai has a lot to be criticized for lately but credit where credit is due, this sounds KILLER and they've been knocking it out of the park with the synth plugins. The product line arent just samplers anymore: they are full on workstations
If you know the Depeche Mode (Vince Clark) track 'I just can't get enough', I used it to see what the MPC Key 61 could do. I've just about emulated the whole track all within the Key 61. I just have the vocals to do. I'll make a video of it when done to show what is AKAI's best machine to date (and I've owned the S6000, the MPC4000 and the mighty DPS24). If the Key 61 MKII has 76 notes with semi-weighted keyboard and the flip-down screen of the MPC-X, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
As an ex Juno 106 owner, I gotta say, this sounds great! No plug will sound 100% the same as the original, but it doesn't matter. Let's not forget Junos were cheap, budget gear back in the 90s and were unfavorably compared to the Jupiter 8, Prophet 5 and Oberheim OB8 which were "real" 2 OSC, VCO synths!
This sounds great! I swear I was just wishing for a Juno recreation on MPC a bit ago, cool to see them bring stuff like this to the platform. Fingers crossed they clone the wavestation as well

Great video and overview without being too technical but highlighting features with what emotionally charged you! That’s what made you video exciting. You have shown me me cool things like the octave in the reverb and automation with the Jura AND the animation of the Mother Ducker. U earned my follow today sir! Thank you for your positivity throughout and especially at the end of the video. I think a lot of the negativity stems from users and people who don’t even own an MPC not yet mastering the updates and current software of the MPC. Thank you so much for the great feedback my friend! I really appreciate it as it helps me get better at making these videos🤟🏻 totally agree that there is way too much negativity when the fact is that now music making is easier, cheaper and more accesible than ever before. See you soon! 🙌🏻
It's not really a good juno emulation but as a stand alone basic subtractive synth it's ok I guess. I really wish it had a basic global tuning control though, so we could layer multiple Jura instances for some awesome phatness. It also skips the basic octave switches from the real Juno which is a real chore. Also, I hope the FX from both Jura and OP4 come as separate plugins. They really are a step up from the standard effects.

Thank you!
Something different from a MPC!
jura sounds good and yes air flavor pro and delay are nice just got the roland SH-4d yesterday time to see if it can synthwave with its juno as well as jura
Nice!! Synthwave making a comeback has been just delicious hahaha! Cheers bro 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Can we please just have some new synths, instead of the next and next and next iteration of the iteration of the iteration of an old analog synth we already have? I mean tal uno nailed it once in the digital realm. Even Roland nailed it in the digital world. It sounds good on the mpc, hell yes. Your video about it is very good. But am i missing something? I have the MPC as a sampler and i use it very much for just this simple purpose. I just sample things. I would like to see, akai would come up with some new groundbreaking new things. Look at the new reason synth objekt! This thing blows everything away in the synth world right now. I am ready for new things.
fabric is sick actually...
You sound completely illogical. In one breath, you say you got the MPC as a sampler and you use as such. In the next, you complain that the synths available aren’t to your liking and you want better ones. Choose which battle you’re trying to fight.

@@matthewgaines10 i dont fight battles, iam a pacifist. I dont want better synths, I want other synths. Iam tired that many companies are chasing ghosts. They should focus on developing synthesizers for the sound of the future, not the past.
that mpc is just a daw perversion but glad you like it, nothing for me for sure
What you using and why?
Can you buy this n fxs and put on several machines do you know? Got 2 lives n force hehe
Three devices at a time.
That’s a great question! I suppose yes if they are all on the same account? I’d check with akai though. Thanks for watching sis!! Cheers🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@MidlifeSynthesist I have a friend whos lets say in charge at Akai, I tend not to contact him, but sometimes after Ive had a few ciders get up the courage lol. I can confirm you can put a pluggin on upto 5 devices 😉 btw Im ya sister🤣
@@InkyDaCaT lol!! Sorry for that sis❤️❤️ lots of love!
the name of the track please?
It’s called “Affair”! Thanks for asking❤️ It’s available for download (+stems) on my patreon👍🏼
@@MidlifeSynthesist thanks so much!
👍🏾
Thanks for watching bro!
Sounds Great for 74.00.
149.00? Probably NOT!
Never seen so many "O" faces in a studio review 😮
SOUNDING AWESOME??
👍#122
All very nice apart from the dad dancing. You might have just cost me £79.00
🤣🤣 I should make a public apology for the dancing, I agree🤪
@@MidlifeSynthesist In know . Soo funny 🤣. After I wrote it I realised that this Thursday puts me only 3 years away from 60yo. The damn cheek of me...But if you ever seen me dancing , you know , really dancing 💃 ( a UK colloquialism that will be lost on you).....I did buy the plugin though 😉
Just show the mpc please.
No
@@MidlifeSynthesist We just want to see the mpc though.
If your here for the music then you want the best sound for $2600... It's not drama when we're being ripped off and a few don't understand good sound. That saying I still love to use Akai as great workflow for standalone. Akai just needs to use better digital to analog converters..
I agree but cant you just hook up your (compatable…) choice usb soundcard……still a lot of cash for something that does not really develope the ‘sound’ character and just adds more paid plug ins.and more ram to encourage that.
It should have been free.
I love me a free plug in as much as the next guy, but in all honesty, the free plugins (except for the Hype) weren’t that amazing for me. I have no problem paying if it means we’ll get this level of quality going forward. I do miss getting free plugins though🥲
@@MidlifeSynthesist I absolutely agree. I should have been more specific..What I should of said was:
With all the MPC sound quality conversation drama going on and the lease that stellar release of the One + and the Push 3 hype I would have put that plug-in out for free as a PR/Loyalty stunt.
@@City2x 100%!
I’m only here for drama 🤙
🤣🤣lol
E-A-Ski has Akai doing the most to overcome the backlash. 😆😆😆
Lol, dude what are you talking about? I clearly said in the video I’m not affiliated with AKAI in any way🤣
I have no skin in the E A SKI vs AKAI thing, as I said, I’m here to enjoy making music and I hope you are too.
Peace!
29.99 not a cent more. They are smoking crack for posting that price. TAL has one of the best Juno emulations out and its 1/3 of what they are asking. Crap like this is why I will probably never buy anything from that company, plenty of options out there these days so you try to rip off your customer base they can easily go somewhere else.
