MPC made me an addict. Bought my first MPC back In January this year. It was the MPC One Plus. Over only 8 months later and I purchased the MPC X SE and it is the best experience ever.
Do you really work faster with the more buttons for functions and 16 links? Oh and wich instruments and fx are not included (would buy them now bf weekend/cybermonday) so I don’t buy instruments or fx that are included..
The X or the X SE are the only two new MPCs that would be of interest to me because of the individual outputs so even if it doesn't sound as good as a MPC 3000 out of the box I could still process the sound so it's closer to what I want.
What a beauty. Hope to get it one day aswell. Loading of fabrik , studio strings and some others is very frustrating. I still have not checked out all the presets because of that. So missing out on sounds
I have no interest in any of the new MPC's until the MPC X came around. The MPC X SE has made me a believer in the new software. I will get one soon and pair it with my 1000 and 5000.
When making music, I like to have around 20 tracks for my workflow. I sometimes layer synths which takes 3 tracks. I might need two tracks for vocals etc. How many tracks can you run at once in the MPC sequencer?
the insight is quite handsome, thanks for bringing us along! i wonder though, what you are doing in recording the verse, is this just the chopped sample adding together ? and since you did not change the verse 2, why not paste the copy ? and another question, why do you still use the one over the x, as main? looking forward to more shared journeys.
okay, let me explain. First of all I really appreciate that you listen to what I say and that's really cool🤝 well, I placed it lower than Live2, because it was "my" rating. What do i mean, MPC X SE - is it a great device? yeeeeees, beast! (and best) would I buy it for myself? emmm, no. I mean if i have extra 2000$ that are burning my pocket - yes but im my own little world i feel so much more freedom and creativity with live2 for example, would i love to change my "modern" 2020 buick encore for a 1993 chevrolet Caprice? or 70s mustang? hell yes! Would i really do this? ///// no😀
well, its just a mixing engineers habit. like when all over the studio I have 1/4" holes (which we call 6.5mm): apollo, mpc, sp, patchbays, so on and so forth, so its just handy when 1 cable fits all without screwing on and off.
I dont know what kind of hard drive you are using on the Live 2 that it is taking multiple seconds to load presets from Fabric, but at most, I experience a brief 1 second delay initially loading the plugin, and rarely any delay switching presets, using a 2 TB western digital traditional non SSD spinning drive. As to the MPC X, sorry, cant justify double the price tag ($1000) for more buttons and knobs, a ten inch adjustable display, more IO, and 2 gb of ram. It seems like alot of new additions, but not $1000 worth of additions in comparison to the Live 2.
okay, what is a staircase sampled beat?😀 i guess it's some trolling but i just love the phrase. Is it commonly used or you just came up with it? anuway, i sill steal it from you and will use it too🤣
Yea, these things are just iPads with pads!! Not worth the price point IMO... Get the same results with a laptop and DAW! If you have a lot of outboard gear and synths, I'd say its useful, but if not....nahh
Impressive but at the same I can imagine this exact same MPC design with the computing power of a MacBook Pro (lots of ram and Apple M3 CPU) and a 2 terabytes of storage. The technology is there Edit: Hi 👋 I appreciate the video, quality images,,editing and awesome beat. Thanks. Myself I spent most of my time on an ASR 10 back in 2000, bought an MPC 2000 XL in 2005 who became the main sequencer of the ASR 10. I have worked with all MPCs up to the Renaissance, which I found to be beautifully built. I fell in love with it but at the same time it was at this period I started to get tired of hip-hop. I was a big fan of J Dilla I saw him in Paris during his last tour. .. Anyway, Peace out

I have been an MPC addict since when I brought my first MPC 60 :)

Modern MPCs have FX now you can throw over the mix to make it sound more like an older MPC
Loving this piece of equiptment and the things that you are doing with it, watching from Jamaica
Thanks a lot! Oh, Jamaica is a very musical country, love it!
Apart from the knobs and I/O's, all them MPC's basically are the same.
What a beauty. Hope to get it one day aswell. Loading of fabrik , studio strings and some others is very frustrating. I still have not checked out all the presets because of that. So missing out on sounds
yeah, but you cant take this one to the toilette with you.
la coka nosta tshirt is dope ....I'm wearing the p.l.r necro one today
gr8 video bruh thanks for sharing 👊🏿
thanks a lot, man! are you considering buying this particular model?
00:15:42 ..says it all!☝🥲👌
yes brother....Amazing track
A producers dream. A highly versatile, esthetically unsurpassable machine. Are they going to bring the price down?
Nice beat... sound like a House of Pain beat 🔥
How y'all be making beats on this thing with no vst3s?

8 audio tracks and 128 midi tracks
@@MastaKraftprod Super. I'm buying it.. Thank you.

Can you use UAD plugins from the interface on this MPC X SE..?
i don't think so, only akai plugins. Its a standalone device
I like your channel. Very detailed demo video. You got a new sub.
thanks a lot man! appreciate you coming here :)
Smoker Beat 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't get it. In the other video you placed this as Tier B? Im struggling between this or mpc 37. Any tips? All best

Крассава, отличный английский
Spasibo!😀
why use a 1/4" Headphone adapter when you have a 3.5mm socket right next to it?
well, its just a mixing engineers habit. like when all over the studio I have 1/4" holes (which we call 6.5mm): apollo, mpc, sp, patchbays, so on and so forth, so its just handy when 1 cable fits all without screwing on and off.
The only thing they need to do at this point is make it possible to change the sample rate and add 32 floating point for bit depth.
Fantastic looking device. Are you upgrading to OS3?
Followed for the Coka shirt
Yes it is
Short memory is right
Super dope video! What cameras are you using? Looks like Sony?
hello! thanks man for the feedback! Yes, you have a sharp eye! Sony forever😀
a6400 for the recent 5 years of youtube, but i have plans to upgrade
@@MastaKraftprod Absolutely welcome! Lol I actually have the same exact camera 😂🙏🏾

You can mix down your plug ins to audio then put the on a pad 😮 omg .. and verses 🤯
yeah, that's true. Bounce to track or bounce to audio really helps if you need to free up tracks or memory
I don’t think it has adat? Why would you say that?
But I didn’t say that🤔
@@MastaKraftprod in the beginning you say you can send it to adat. Maybe I misunderstood
Is it better than original x?
Just more beautiful😀
@@MastaKraftprod so buy this one instead?
More RAM

No,there like a cross between ipad and older MPC…..
Yeah would think it has mouse functionality.
