There's so much Omochao dialogue in this game because not only does Omochao give hints, but he also narrates the in-game tutorial/info videos. And it gets better. If you collect at least 100 emblems, an Omochao menu theme will appear in the Black Market, for 10,000 rings. So you can listen to your friend Omochao narrate the menu selections, as well.

One recently hatched is a baby, one that evolves once is a child, and the 2nd is grown-up where they either become a Chao of their most raised affinity (Flying, Power, Swim) or Light or Dark Chao. To perform the Mating process (or Ritual), you must have 2 Chaos who have evolved at least twice, purchase a heart fruit from the black market and head back to the garden with the two desired Chao, one Chao will eat the heart fruit and the flowers thar bloom around the Chao mean they can mate now. Grab your 2nd Chao and place them down in the flowers. If the 2nd Chao wants to as well, they will walk (or crawl) themselves to the flowers. If done correctly, that jingle will play while one giant cacoon (that you see during evolution) surrounds the two Chao, and after the cacoon disappears, your two Chao are back and an egg is created. If memory serves correctly, the Chao who did not eat the Heart Fruit will match the color of the Chao inside the egg. Sorry for the paragraph, but it's a long process.

I think some of omochaos dialogue (like the nuts) are from the tutorial. In the game cube/Dreamcast version, there is a semi-tutorial. A helper, kinda. Omochao will tell you about all sorts of stuff. However, in the Xbox version, it was replaced with panel reading. So those dialogue voices were removed. Also there are unused dialogue like when omochao talks about the Chao playground and library.
