Sonic Colors DS basically confirms Blaze and Silver's backstory from 06 is still canon despite being erased from the timeline; both can simultaneously be canon because timeline bullshit, and this is something nobody seemed to have trouble wrapping their heads around until it was actually officially acknowledged.
